@AnnieSnap thank you

Talisin · 04/12/2021 06:39

Now this is something I like and will use but I know that it’s not to a lot of people’s taste. How’s that for enigmatic?Grin

I used the Immortale cream overnight and woke up with lovely soft skin so that’s a win. Will not be buying it though - way too expensive!

rosegoldwatcher · 04/12/2021 07:16

Ooh I love today's offering!

RampantIvy · 04/12/2021 07:31

I have my first ever professional manicure on Wednesday. I shall be taking this along and asking them to use it.

HeySeamus · 04/12/2021 07:45

Not for me this one as I have my nails done professionally but it is a lovely colour and I won't struggle to find someone who'd love to take it off my hands.

Luvacuppatea · 04/12/2021 07:50

Very happy with today’s offering. Lovely festive colour. I don’t paint my nails often, or buy varnish, so this will be great for over Christmas 😊

Nuffaluff · 04/12/2021 07:59

Festive nail varnish. I did my nails last night so I’ll put this on next week.
I haven’t found that the loccitane cream pills at all if something does that I wonder if it’s a reaction with a product you already have on your face. Pilling is so annoying though isn’t it? Means you sometimes have to take it all and start again!
Can anyone recommend a good primer? I hope we get one in the box. I’ve just finished using a small sample. Also, what is the point of them actually Grin

FreshFaceTime · 04/12/2021 08:07

I had red toenails already so slapped a coat of this over the top. Looks fab!

@Nuffaluff loads of people rate Smashbox primers but I find the Aldi dupes just as good. I also like the Rimmel lasting finish primer.

My new favourite is this:

Sorry for the massive link!

Nuffaluff · 04/12/2021 08:09

Thanks @FreshFaceTime. I have plenty of fine lines so maybe I should try that.

Anjelika · 04/12/2021 08:18

@FreshFaceTime I'm after a primer too so thanks for the link. I like the Rimmel one too. Not sure about today's offering. I get my nails done with gel but could use it on my toes.

Bavarois · 04/12/2021 08:27

Love today's, I hardly use nail varnish due to work but I have my night out tonight so was raiding my stash last night trying to find some (unsuccessfully!) so this is perfect. I like that they've put a sort of glam thing in for a Saturday, it might be a coincidence but it's like they've thought it through.

Helpstopthepain · 04/12/2021 08:32

I’m not sure on today’s. It’s nice but I’m not sure I’ll wear it. Im off work for a few days so might try it.

Findingthelight1 · 04/12/2021 08:33

Loving today's.

I'm still a bit confused about the cleanser we got on day 1 though (I'm usually a hot cloth cleanser person, so not used to a balm). Is it meant to take my makeup off? And am I supposed to use it on cotton wool pads?! It smells very nice but I'm not used to the texture.

Yes it takes off makeup. Just use it as you normally would for HC cleansing.
GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 04/12/2021 09:17

I very rarely paint my nails as I can't keep it unchipped to save my life, but I always give it a go at Christmas, so will definitely try this.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 04/12/2021 09:19

I love today's "gift" (psychologically it feels like a little gift each day!) I get my fingernails done with gel every few weeks but do my toenails myself and this is the perfect Christmas toenail colour! DD (11 and zero interest in anything S&B) can't understand why anyone would paint their toenails in winter when nobody is going to see them so I made sure to explain that it's always on ever because I can see and it gives me joy, it's never for anyone else [fmsile]

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 04/12/2021 09:20

[fmsmile] apologies for typos I've got my glasses but haven't had coffee yet!!

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 04/12/2021 09:20

Ah here...!! Xmas Blush Xmas Grin

Babymamaroon · 04/12/2021 09:28

I'm pretty chuffed with today's offering. My nails have been damaged from so much Shellac so I'm taking a break and this will be perfect for looking festive!

Decaffe · 04/12/2021 09:33

Ah, the ubiquitous red nail polish.

Bit disappointed with this one as it's the same every year!

Do you remember a couple of years back when we got two dark red nail polishes - very similar but one was shimmery and one wasn't?!

If we have to have a nail polish then would much prefer a non-red or non-metallic colour.

In fact what would be great would be some sort of paint-on nail treatment - a strengthener or something like that!

H1Drangea · 04/12/2021 09:42

Oooh. Lovely red polish !

tandt5 · 04/12/2021 09:55

A bit disappointed with today's offering, I would prefer a neutral colour, like Essie's Ballet Slippers or Mademoiselle. I will put it as a stocking filler for my DD.
Still very happy and super excited every morning.
In the evening it's Degustabox turn.

As for primers my absolute favourite is Estee Lauder's The Smoother (got it as a sample but it worked so well with Double Wear I had to buy the full size). Pricey though

latedecember1963 · 04/12/2021 10:12

It's a proper wet winter day here in Lancashire so this is a nice bit of cheer. I'm going to try it on my toes 1st. I agree with Decaffe that a nail treatment would make a useful change especially as our hands and nails have taken a hammering with hand sanitizers over the last 18 months.
I couldn't find this particular shade on the M and S website so it might be just for the calendar. Several Nails Inc polishes were listed at £8 so I'm using that as an estimate for today. That brings the total to £32.76.

Orcadianrythyms · 04/12/2021 10:12

Lovely shade but my lockdown skill was doing my own shellac so probably won't use it - my DD will love it.
I like the EH cleanser but prefer Elemis version and I've pretty much used up the wee moisturiser. I liked it but probably wouldn't repurchase.
