I think we have at least one tiara each, according to my spreadsheet. Some have parures. Any newbies welcome, log your choices.

Lady Allans Cartier Meander Tiara, diamond and Pearl. There is a sad story attached to this- Lady Allan, 2 of her daughters, both children I think, and 2 maids, were travelling on the Lusitania when it was sunk in 1915. Lady Allen, the maids and the tiara all survived, but the children didn’t. It’s still beautiful, but if it was mine I don’t think I could have ever looked at it again. 🙁

Is this the same blue and white outfit that Camilla wore for her speech? Looks like she's wearing brown leather boots with it.

Camilla is very underestimated I think, she quietly and consistently does fantastic work on behalf of women’s causes, important rather than glamorous.

I think she also has talked Charles out of his more extreme opinions in the media knowing that it backfires on him

Quite possibly! I hope she’s wearing her biggest tiara while giving him a telling off and wagging her finger😂.
I like Charles though, I think he’s a bit misunderstood at times too. He’s usually very dapper isn’t he, but he’s been a bit crumpled lately. Get the starch out, Charles!

The BBC have now changed the photo with the article on Camilla's speech from the blue and white outfit to one of her wearing a plain black dress.

So they must have used a stock photo of her at first, now changed to a photo of the actual event, as other photos show her dressed in black when greeting Carrie at the event.

Her passionate speech has had widespread approval. I think she is a steadying influence on Charles, and far more sensible than him.

Indeed. There's a women's refuge in West London that she visited. Camilla arranged for all the women to be given a toiletries set. Not huge or expensive, but it was such a lovely, thoughtful gesture. A little bit of self care.

I really appreciate Camilla and the work she does.

I think the she issues she champions, including the Silverline work is just much more direct and relatable for ordinary people, including many of the most vulnerable. She hosts a Christmas party for children from a hospice too, I’m sure everyone already knows, and this is especially important for me, as my middle dc has a severe disability and goes to a local children’s hospice.

I hope your dc gets the benefit of this sort of thing, @gluenotsoup. It's not glamorous, but such important work to support families.
I like that Camilla visits care homes and hospices, and women's refuges. Such a good use of her role.

I agree about Camilla. I imagine she might be down to earth and fun. Even when stuff went down years ago, she was in all fairness the only one not to go public, but was blamed for a lot.

I agree about Camilla's charity work. Plus I reckon she'd be the most fun to have a drink and chat with! Remember when she winked at the press when she and PC had to host Trump and Melania for tea? That was a high point for me!

What a way to (not so subtly) undermine and reduce the power of Camilla’s speech!

It’s interesting that Camilla chose to wear black when key points in her speech focused on murdered women. Black isn’t a colour she wears very often, so I think she was making a point about how seriously she took the subject of her speech.

I like Camilla's commitment to books and reading as well as her other causes.

After her fashion triumphs in Italy last week, CPV has blipped here, for me at least. I can't get on board with this outfit. The coat is awful and I think the bright primary colours look especially bad with the black underneath.
