Another tiara to add to the mix! This would make an excellent starter tiara I think...from the Earl of Lindsay's family collection (no, I haven't a clue who that is either, but his daughter married some Spanish royal prince chap)

See, I know it's our thread title but I can't see myself ever needing a starter tiara. I reckon I'm already more than ready for the Real Thing, a giant full-blown tiara.

On another note, I have only just noticed Eugenie’s wedding earrings, they are quite dainty looking really, but I do love emeralds ♥️

I remember reading that before her coronation, HM had to practise wearing both the Imperial State and King Edward's Crown. She could often be seen reading the paper or having a cuppa wearing one or the other.
I'd be prepared to put the practise in for those items!

Evening - I don't post often on here but I do follow avidly and I wonder if I might bagsy the Earl of Lindsay one posted by frugal kitty please? And since it's 'only' a 'starter' I assume it'd be ok wearing on dog walks with my wellies?

They're actually quite good!

You know what we need? A website that you could input what jewels you have already (say, five oval emeralds, 12 diamonds and a string of pearls) and it comes up with a tiara design for you! Like the legacy ring ads on Instagram, that show pics of people's old rings that get redesigned. But ours would create tiara designs!

Off topic but still Royal was thinking about you today after -gutting tidying the airing cupboard. It's huge as the previous owners of the house had the hot water tank removed when the combi boiler was put in.
The things I forgotten I'd just put in there just to be out of the way until I got round to either selling it/giving it away etc like DD's toy pram, sets of Playmobil under piles of blankets/throws/old towels etc.
Unfortunately I didn't find any Princes but did find some unopened travel size tubes of Elemis PC Marine Cream to keep me going as my big pot has just ran out.

P.S. I'm keeping the Playmobil for any future grandchildren & just in case

Tracy I haven't kept anything for the grandchildren, although only having one DD (and two DSs) means she's got her beady eyes on my ring collection (as I have mine on my mum's!) At least the marine cream was a good find.....tsv coming up next month looks good, I might be tempted.

I'm holding out for that. I meant to ask you where I can get a quick look-see before it hits QVC.

Camilla’s out and and about tonight at the Wellcome Trust, giving a speech calling for a change of culture to prevent sexual violence against women.

She’s very smart and business like in navy and white, I’ve not seen a full length shot, so can’t say if she’s wearing her favourite boots!
