I think we have at least one tiara each, according to my spreadsheet. Some have parures. Any newbies welcome, log your choices.

I wonder if Kate fancies borrowing this and putting it with the blue enamel tiara?

@gluenotsoup yes, Kate would look amazing in that quite edgy blue gown and with the blue enamel tiara. One of Diana's fabulous looks there.

I am also fond of this one, borrowed by Queen Rania a couple of times - Queen Alia’s Cartier tiara. It’s a bit of an optical illusion, but stunning. It’s now owned by Princess Haya, Queen Alia of Jordan’s daughter (but since she’s now run away from her husband the Sheikh of Dubai’s control I doubt we’ll see it again).

Princess Mako of Japan has now married. It's all a very odd situation if you have been following it. She has ptsd poor thing. It must be a very stifling court.

I see the York girls were at the Greek wedding - they both looked amazing.

Interesting piece on the potential crisis for the Japanese monarchy. The current Emperor's brother and nephew are his heirs but by the time the nephew becomes Emperor he could be the only royal family member left from his generation!

That must be quite the culture shock, moving from the Imperial household to a rented condo before relocating abroad.

Here is Mako, going to her wedding, and at the following press conference. I like the twinkle in their eyes, I really hope they will be happy. she looks lovely, very understated but elegant. The more bridal image is from 2011, but shows a great tiara.

I adore this image from the present Emperor's enthronement. I think we discussed the intricacies of their dress then but still as stunning.

Lovely to see the tiara sharing, very much in the spirit of the site. I'm going to be wearing Queen Ena's Legacy Diamond Bracelets, as modelled by Leti. Probably when I get the car valeted tomorrow.

Queen Margrethe has hosted a reception. Marie and Mary both in trousers. I like Marie's velvet suit and metallic shoes, but am less keen on Mary's outfit on this occasion. It's the bow at the waist I especially dislike. Still, she always looks elegant.
