I would think Carolina Herrera would give her the dress, surely, rather than just loan it? Usually CH dresses fit well, it may be that design with the tight low bodice and the double skirt isn't a great shape for Meghan.

As the designer though would you not want it to fit perfectly?

Queen Margrethe looks amazing! I think she was 80 last year so tbf she's a fair bit younger than our queen. Though QEII has looked elderly since she was about 40!

Q Margarethe looks very stylish for 81! HMQ bless her, I can't recall her taking style risks like that.

I don't think dresses that emphasise her waist like that do Meghan any favours. Her best evening gowns have been ones that flow (like the blue and red caped dresses) or have more of an empire waistline, like the white and silver gown from the Australian tour.

@shrugitoff I love the blue dress in the rain photo too 🥰 It’s one of my favourite Meghan outfits along with the green leather skirt and blouse combo (she really knows how to rock that look!)

He does @FGSWhatNow but I think it makes him look younger than his years. His brother actually looks far older with his Grecian 2000ed hair!

I agree that CPF looks younger than his brother.

I had thought QM was mid 80s so interesting to learn that she's only 81. She seems to be someone with a innate sense of her own style.

Her a-line denim dress worn to the polo and bright yellow Brandon Maxwell sheath dress were also great looks.

I noted with interest that the recently released emails shows she was unhappy that Jessica Mulroney was being touted as her stylist when in reality she didn’t use one - I don’t think that was generally a wise decision, but she did put together some lovely looks.

I agree that Margrethe has her own innate sense of style, she’s a gifted artist and costume designer, and she brings her understanding of colour and line to her fashion choices. She’s got a flair for style and the theatrical that often shows in the clothes she wears.

She looks super in the dark green gown, and I love the contrast between the lace and the fabric of the skirt.

As I said at the time, that photo of Megs & Harry under the umbrella with the silver raindrops around them, will become THE iconic photograph of them!

I don't know why Meghan is so resistant to a stylist. The Hollywood crowd use them at public events. Like me she is short waisted with longer legs. Now Eva Longoria s stylist could advise on dressing a petite woman

It's strange as I'm sure she must've had a stylist at one point. All the looks she wore during her engagement period were great! She looked fresh, modern and stylish. It was only after she married and had to "dress royal" that she started to sport more duds.

Huge fan of Daisy. She looks fabulous in that green lace and wears that tiara so easily.

Yes Cliffs, M-M seems to be feeling the sleeveless overcoat vibe at the moment. I noticed this one a couple of days ago, which I must confess I think does her no favours, especially the side view. But as you say, maybe these are a Scandi thing?

I really have a visceral reaction to sleeveless jackets! Massive 90's throwback and it wasn't good the first time. I saw a recent photo of Joely Richardson in one and although she's a beautiful woman, it just looked odd.
I think Meghan does casual chic best. She rocked that jeans and white shirt combo early on. I think now she's fallen into the trap of very expensive designer item=automatic chic, when in fact she looks better imho in trousers/jeans/leather skirts.

I absolutely love Meg’s scarlet Wes Gordon dress! The skimpy revealing almost corset bodice, the narrow sheath with the flashes of leg, all in contrast to the huge extravaganza of the billowing flowing shimmering ripples of the vast skirt! Totally fabulous!

Interesting too that the colour is to remind us all of the dress uniform Harry wore to one of his last appearances with the royals! Not forgetting one of Diana’s bracelets as the finishing touch!
