Mary is indeed going down the frozen route - it really never makes anyone look younger or better, does it? I like her print skirts, though.
Josephine's tiaras are interesting - I rather like the unusual shape and colour, not sure about the cameos which look a little satyr like to me.

Could I possibly lay claim to the amethyst parure? It's ever so pretty!

That Amethyst necklace is beautiful. Camilla does wear jewelry well, I think she genuinely enjoys it and it shows.

I do like CP Mary in her smart casual mode, such as she was wearing in Burkina Faso, but agree she’s heading down the Rania route.

I think Camilla would look amazing in Queen Mary’s amethyst Parker, which the Queen Mother sold for some reason after her death (sob). It was gorgeous, and surprisingly modern - Anna Wintour turned up in the necklace from the parure a few years ago, showing how it may have looked. I am sad about this loss.

Here is the perfect tiara to finish off your halloween outfits: Lady Granville's Beetle tiara, apparently made with real beetles mounted in gold.

I wish Anna was wearing something that showed the necklace off to better advantage.

It's a shame because it's such a gorgeous set & would look great on Camilla (who looks gorgeous in the amethyst heart necklace & dark violet purple dress) Purples really suit Camilla.

Agree about Anna W's hair. I read somewhere that she has it professionally blow dried twice a day whilst attending Paris, London, Milan, NYC Fashion Weeks.
Talking of Vogue editors I'm currently reading Alexandra Shulman's 'Clothes.....& other things that matter'
It is her autobiography as each chapter ties in with an item of clothing in her wardrobe & what she was doing in her life at the time she bought it & wore it. Also a fabulous insight into the Vogue offices.
Alexandra Shulman always comes across as very approachable & very nice. Not at all scary!
Though I've heard 'Nuclear Wintour' is really just Anna's character/persona to get through the madness of the international Vogue world & she's actually lovely.

The Queen mother and queen Mary didn't hit it off. So flogging it might have given her a moment of glee

I am a lurker on this thread and realised I’ve left it too late to bag a tiara! Maybe Anna Wintour has the Amethyst Tiara as well as the necklace, and happy to let me borrow it occasionally?
