My first quarterly box arrived today. It's £20 a month which is then "banked" so you can spend that on Liberty beauty making the box free. Free P&P on your purchases too.

I'm trying to save for the calendar too, does anyone know the cost roughly?

Blossomtoes · 30/06/2022 20:31

Someaddedsugar · 30/06/2022 19:58

@Blossomtoes even though I know it's still costing the same amount of money at the end, it does feel like it's almost free treat money 😂

I know. Ridiculous, isn’t it?

It was £225 last year.

Do any of you regularly buy the advent calendar and is it worth it?

I was intending to save my credit for the Diptyque Christmas sets but starting to wonder if I'd be better off going for a calendar?

They should release the content list in September. Check and see how much you like it and will use it. I've had 3 of the early Liberty calendars. I didn't think much of last year's contents. It all depends on what you like but for me, I'd never spend that amount without checking that I'd like most of it. The content list I'd out so early for most of the AC, that I've usually forgotten most of it by December.

Thanks for the advice @Housewife2010. I will definitely do that. I liked the idea of a daily treat but like you say if I won't use it then I'd much rather buy the candles that I know I'll love. And I'd still have some credit left as I think I signed up in December for BD.

Nanasueathome · 01/07/2022 21:56

Liberty generally do a gift with purchase around September/October, before the advent calendar has been released
Think minimum spend is around £150 and then GWP is around £400 value
I have gone with this the last few times as I feel it’s more suited to what I want (can buy preferred beauty items to £150 ish value)

Nanasueathome · 01/07/2022 21:59

i just checked order history..it was the end of August last year for the gwp

SomeOldDonut · 02/07/2022 14:28

Thank you so much @Lyn29 and @Someaddedsugar - packages gratefully received!! :)
excited for the next box now

Someaddedsugar · 02/07/2022 18:08

V welcome @SomeOldDonut - thank you for the sleep drops!

Shouldn't be long now until the July box. Is it mid-month when they come out?

Do you think there will be decent GWPs now they have the Beauty Drop? If I recall correctly the one earlier this year was nothing to write home about (but I could be wrong). I do hope they’re going to pull all the stops out with the advent calendar.

Blossomtoes · 02/07/2022 21:08

So do I as it’s going to be the only one I ever get!

Lagirl20 · 04/07/2022 20:11

Has anyone received their box yet?!

Brogues · 04/07/2022 20:13

I think someone said 14th July?

Mrcpy · 04/07/2022 20:37

Looking forward to this so much!

Lagirl20 · 05/07/2022 01:32

Thanks! I thought it came out at the start of the month but I could be wrong. Longer to wait, gah!

Lyn29 · 05/07/2022 09:51

Me too!!! I could really do with a pamper and some new products to try Smile

peerie · 09/07/2022 08:34

I just signed up, will I get the July box do you think?

petitebleu · 09/07/2022 08:46

I think you should if you've got in in time for a payment to be taken.

peerie · 09/07/2022 08:53

Oh good, can you tell me what the perfume sample was in the April box?

QueefofSheena · 10/07/2022 20:43

I tried to sign up and got as far as registering on the website, then nothing. Not sure what’s supposed to happen next!

Isabelle70 · 10/07/2022 22:01

@peerie my first payment was 28 March and I received my first box in April.

MrsMidgeMaisel · 11/07/2022 12:03

So I've been charged this month but not received my £20, last month they sent me a voucher is it just me or have people got their vouchers?

Blossomtoes · 11/07/2022 12:13

I’ve never had a voucher, I don’t think that’s how it works. My account is in credit in the amount I’ve paid and not spent - currently £160 in readiness for the advent calendar.

peerie · 11/07/2022 14:00

New to this...
My email says £20 voucher is here in the heading and then within the email it says £20 credit

Blossomtoes · 11/07/2022 14:05

My welcome email said

You can redeem your Beauty Drop account credit online or in-store in multiple transactions by quoting your barcode number at till point or entering the code in the voucher box at payment level

No mention of any vouchers.
