Day time moisturiser:

Olay Complete Care Daily UV fluid
Price: Can't remember. 100ml bottle
Scent: 7/10 Perfectly nice, nothing wildly exciting though.
Moisturisingness: 10/10 Really good, not greasy at all.
Absorption: 9/10 Fine, soaks in quickly.
Value for money: 8/10 Not bad, lasts well and has SPF included. What's not to like?

Night time moisturiser:

No 7 Hydro Quench Overnight Cream Sorbet
Price: Can't remember, but only 50ml tube
Scent: 8/10 Again, nice, but sort of what you'd expect
Moisturisingness 10/10 Wonderful, leaves me feeling soft and smooth with an almost powdery finish (they should pay me for this!)
Absorption: 10/10 Soaks in quickly and easily
Value for money: 9/10 Not vastly expensive but not a bargain basement option either. Worth it though as it is FAB!

RoC Retin-Ox - Day Cream

scent 8/10
moisturising ness 20/20
absorption 10/10
value for money 6/10
Total 44

I love this, although it is expensive and doesn't last that long.

I have used their products for a while, and had read that it was one of the few that did work. No idea what I would have looked like if I didn't use it, but it does seem to keep my skin looking young.

If you're prepared to spend this amount, it does seem to be worth it!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 07/12/2007 08:32

I love children is the simple answer, i always wanted lots. Probably would have stopped at 5 but exp ran off with 22 yr old and i (surprisingly) bagged myself a toy boy

Would like another 1 or 2 i think, mother nature permitting. All boys except 1 girl, running out of names... and moisturiser that has magical properties to cope with increasing demands made upon it by said old looking over tired skin.

largevirginbirthandtonic · 07/12/2007 08:33

Before Dermalogica i used Clinique yellow (whatever it is) moisturiser. Dermalogica beats it hands down imho.

feetheart · 07/12/2007 11:52

Thanks to Turquoise (I will forever be in your debt ) I tried the Eucerin lipobase and it sorted out my very dry, breaking out in blotches skin within days. For the first time EVER (and I'm 45!!) my skin felt properly moisturised.
Decided to try the (shhhhhhhhh) anti-wrinkle version and found it even better though double the price!

Eucerin Q10 Active Anti-Wrinkle

Scent - no scent so 10/10
Moisturising - 20/20
Absorbtion - 10/10 (though my skin would probably absorb lard!!)
Value for money - 8/10 #17.50 for 50ml which is a lot for me but it works so money well spent

48/50

I use the Q10 Active Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream too and would rate that as highly as the Day Cream

Birdly · 07/12/2007 11:59

Thanks for tips re cheapo Decleor!

puddle · 07/12/2007 12:11

Liz Earle Superkin

Scent 10/10
Moisturisingness 10/10 - for older, dryer skin
Absorption 10/10

VFM 9/10 costs £30 for 50 ml pot

puddle · 07/12/2007 12:12

Moisturisingness 9/10

fishie · 11/12/2007 10:32

mega i've just got my sister ren rose cream for xmas, cor what a price but very lovely.

dingdongMegaLegsonhigh · 11/12/2007 10:34

ooo fishie it is lovely. I got a load of SpaceNK vouchers last Christmas and Birthday and the trendy, smooth skinned sales guy suggested the Ren range for my aging but madly sensitive skin. I love it but don't what I'll do when it runs out, I'll have to start saving.

3missyshohoho · 13/12/2007 13:43

So is there a winner then as I need a new moisturiser?
