Lots of new clothes and maybe some makeup

JaneJeffer · 11/02/2021 13:50

I would get some Clarins double serum. I had a sample and it felt lovely on my skin. Too expensive though.

Otherplans · 11/02/2021 13:54

A cashmere sweater and some perfume.

Gliblet · 11/02/2021 13:59

White Company robe and slippers, Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian thermal face mask, AromaWorks lemongrass and bergamot candles, Origins Ginger Essence goodies, Charbonnel et Walker chocolates and something to hit DH and DS with to keep them out of the chocolates Grin

Dyinghouseplant · 11/02/2021 14:10

New make-up and a luxury face cream.

birkenstocks4ever · 11/02/2021 14:10

Aspinall leather card holder, a cast iron Le Creuset pot and some nice gin

TommyKnocker · 11/02/2021 14:12

At the moment I'd go for something along the lines of a cashmere lounge set or robe and some nice slippers because that's what I appear to be living in...although mine is sadly not cashmere. Or I'd have a look on SpaceNK and get a set of skin care, maybe Sunday Riley or Drunk Elephant.

limesoda · 11/02/2021 14:51

I had this at Christmas and bought myself grenson nanette boots, which are my one true love atm.

PerpetuallyUnderwhelmed · 11/02/2021 15:22

Good ideas! With nowhere to go, I'm not sure about buying clothes.

I'm definitely going to get on board the 'bathscaping' trend with some nice oils and stuff. I have lots of cashmere but toddler tends to cover it in snot...

Cashmere jumper, new bath oil and body oil.

HiPieInTheSky · 11/02/2021 15:49

My online shopping ventures for clothes have been truly woeful, so it would have to be some silver studs, decent box chocks, some oil for my new burner, a good pair of Austrian brand haus shoes, garden clogs and some new nail varnish, bit of a mixed bag there!

HiPieInTheSky · 11/02/2021 15:50

Oh and a mattress topper.....

lazylinguist · 11/02/2021 16:17

Tan Chelsea boots, Sweaty Betty leggings, or some pure linen bedding (La Redoute do some that's not horrifically expensive).

DocMarteens · 11/02/2021 16:22

A beautiful, bold, crisp, beautifully tailored red coat that I would keep forever

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/02/2021 16:49

A ring, some cosy new slippers and a big bottle of gorgeous bubble bath.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/02/2021 16:50

Or kitchen stuff - a full set of Denby.

ashmts · 11/02/2021 17:37

Fur lined Doc Martens, Spanx faux leather leggings, a Diptyque candle and Olaplex 0 and 3. Slippers, new bedding and gin are also good shouts.

GrimDamnFanjo · 11/02/2021 17:40

Earrings.
French linen bedding
Bath oil.

AubergineDream · 11/02/2021 17:46

A gel nails kit with a UV light and everything I need to do gel powder extensions
A spray tanning system
If I had anything left then on skin care.

AubergineDream · 11/02/2021 17:46

I'm trying to lose weight so no point in buying clothes right now!

CallMeBritney · 11/02/2021 17:50

A bottle of Tauer's Au Coeur de Desert.
A big heavy wool blanket for sofa-snuggling.
A huge box of Prestat or Rococo chocolates.

TheVampiresWife · 11/02/2021 17:52

@limesoda

I had this at Christmas and bought myself grenson nanette boots, which are my one true love atm.
So envious!

I would do the same, I think. Or a Mimi Berry bag. Or a ruby ring, I've had my eye on a vintage one in my local jeweller's for ages. Jewellery is my favourite pick-me-up!

CallMeBritney · 11/02/2021 17:53

This thread has just reminded me that I've got a £50 Fortnum's voucher to be spent online! I'm going to sort out the chocolate bit of that list right now Grin

Rina66 · 11/02/2021 18:02

A Dr Dennis Gross spectra light LED face mask for me please - £430 though, so I’d need to save up a bit more. I use his daily peel pads and think they’re great, so I have high hopes for the mask.

Changeispossible · 11/02/2021 18:11

Some high quality organic chocolate ... & lots of it! Grin
