A use-it-for years leather tote bag.

StarlightLady · 12/02/2021 04:43

Prepare for summer. New mid price machine washable dress, possibly from Oliver Bonus or John Lewis, new brightly coloured bra and 2 pairs of matching knix and if there is any change left, put it towards a new swimming cosie and beach towel.

Hmmmm! That’s it. I’m going to start looking this weekend. I’ve decided l need treats!

WoodSageandSeasalt · 12/02/2021 06:44

Waterproof Uggs
Clinique Sparkle Skin body scrub
Clarins Instant Smooth primer
Leather hobo bag

PerpetuallyUnderwhelmed · 12/02/2021 07:00

@Handsnotwands any ideas on where the perfect gold hoops may be found?!

Nice undies are another great option

I would save it until we are released from this hell and the shops are open .
I’d have a wonderful day out buying some beautiful clothes to float around in whilst visiting friends and sitting in restaurants and bars .

StarlightLady · 12/02/2021 08:49

OP, have you blown your budget yet?

Handsnotwands · 12/02/2021 09:16

No, sadly @PerpetuallyUnderwhelmed I don’t. I know what I want, I just can’t find them (I also don’t have £250 to spend on them)

RosesAndHellebores · 12/02/2021 09:23

Toast Kantha dressing gown.

PerpetuallyUnderwhelmed · 12/02/2021 14:34

My list of maybes:

  • Suzanne Kaufman bath oil
  • Dinny Hall gold earrings
  • maybe some more lululemon leggings
  • maybe some white company loungewear

Haven’t decided to blow it all on one thing or get multiple smaller packages....

A short strap crossbody bag - something utilitarian and cool
AA bath oil deep
Trinny London - I'm eyeing up Empress eyeshadow and BFF eye and Swainy lip colour - never used them before but would like to see if as good as the reviews look

JaceLancs · 12/02/2021 19:17

Designer shoes from outlet store

Retailqueenie · 12/02/2021 23:02

Cashmere...

Cashmere jumper
Cashmere snood
Cashmere cardi
Cashmere wrist warmers
Cashmere gloves

I’m cold.... I may need more than £250 for that lot tho 🤣

Floisme · 13/02/2021 00:33

A state of the art coffee grinder.
Or an overlocker.
But if you round it up to £900, the Harris Tweed coat in the Margaret Howell sale.

Letsskidaddle · 13/02/2021 14:14

Oooh there's some lovely treats on here! I got the fur-lined Doc Martens a PP suggested for Christmas and they are as amazing as I'd hoped! Coveted them for ages and completely love them!

Neom candles and some lovely bath goodies would make my list, along with a fab bathrobe/dressing gown.

Or some brilliant sunglasses - I had a very fancy pair (Armani I think) years ago and lost them, but summer is so much better with brilliant sunnies!

Knittingnanny · 13/02/2021 22:33

Floisme , a few years ago my husband queued up outside Lidl’s to get me a Singer overlocker as I had wanted one for years and years.
It is such a pain to thread that I actually cry if one thread snaps and I have to rethread 4 spools. I haven’t used it as much as I thought I would because of the threading up issue!
I would buy the tweed coat instead

Devlesko · 13/02/2021 22:43

A couple of new outfits and a good foudation

Floisme · 14/02/2021 08:04

Ah thanks Knitting that does sound like hard work! The coat's now sold out (at £905 in the sales Shock) so guess it'll have to be a swanky coffee grinder.
