And if so, which.

I really like Tom Ford bags. Amongst others.

I don’t have a big birthday this year but I’m planning a big bag purchase for my 45th. Which gives me one year and a bit to save up! And then a really big bag purchase for my 50th.

Likely to be Mulberry, Louis Vuitton or similar for my 45th. Dior or Chanel for my 50th.

WellHolyGodMiley · 26/01/2020 18:47

You should definitely share pictures of what you buy!

Im deciding. I love Loewe, Tom Ford, Mulberry, YSL 😍🛍👜

I love the channel gabrrielle but it is so expensive for a not-a-classic

I did last year with a Chanel Double Flap in black with silver hardware....bloody love it!

PH30B3 · 26/01/2020 20:07

I celebrated my 30th and 31st birthday with a handbag and I'll hopefully celebrate my 32nd with one too! Probably coach.

TheReef · 26/01/2020 20:51

I've got my eye on a red Mulberry Bayswater, the big one. I'm trying to justify it by using it as a laptop bag.

I bought myself a Chloe Faye Day Bag last year and love it so can't justify a small everyday bag as I use this if just carrying round my purse, keys, phone etc.

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:01

I’ll make sure to come back and update!

I’ll post a few of my bags that I’ve already got, though (love a bag thread!).

I am too lazy to unpack them all and take photos so I’m going to find stock photos, except for my Darley which I bought last year and already have photos of as I posted them on a couple of threads at the time.

Anya Hindmarch Belvedere (the first luxury bag I ever bought!)

Mulberry New Bayswater, small
Mulberry Lily, small
Mulberry Darley, small

WellHolyGodMiley · 26/01/2020 21:04

I thought I had decided on the Mulberry millie larger tote but I saw it in real life and it was too big.

@HarrietBasset good for you 🍷😀

@Ph30b3 I like the tabby shoulder bag myself. -The larger one. What have you got your eye on.

Chanel 2/55 for my 55th birthday. I’ve a decent collection of bags and still love all of them. However I like jewellery too!

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:07

Argh, meant to attach photos!

I love the Millie, but I want the small, in burnt amber. I like the blue/red/black (or is it navy?) colourway in the large Millie but the bag would be too big for me.

twosoups1972 · 26/01/2020 21:19

Love a bag thread! Waves to @ninka

I have a nice collection of bags - some Mulberry, one Coach, a Manu Atelier and a gorgeous grey Strathberry which I love. And some cheaper bags.

I love the look of a Loewe puzzle bag but it looks like it might be heavy.

I’d love another Mulberry - maybe a Leighton or Hampstead.

twosoups1972 · 26/01/2020 21:21

I’d love a Mulberry Lily too - black with silver hardware.

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:34

Hi soups 👋

There are so many lovely bags in the world...

I also have this one by Marc Jacobs, I think it’s called the mini Natasha?

And the Cooper from All Saints.

And my tiny Japan crossbody from Russel & Bromley.

Plus maybe ten or fifteen more? Mix of mid to more expensive high street like Whistles, Hobbs, Reiss, Toast.

@ninka you have reminded me I also have a Marc Jacobs Natasha! In dark red. I haven’t used it for ages but it’s a very comfortable bag to wear

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:39

A lot of my bags are quite slouchy, I’m liking a more boxy or structured aesthetic atm so will ‘need’ to update my collection with one or two more this year, fingers crossed. Probably one day bag from Aspinal plus an evening bag from there as well. Will have to see how my fund is looking at summer sale/Black Friday time.

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:40

Ohhhh a Natasha in dark red must look lovely! I’ve yet to find my perfect red bag, I’m very picky about the exact shade I want...

Juniper45 · 26/01/2020 21:43

Louis Vuitton Milla MM I think. Or Lady Dior.

Ninkanink · 26/01/2020 21:46

Lady Dior is top of my list for my 50th.

getupnow · 26/01/2020 21:52

Chanel pls

WellHolyGodMiley · 26/01/2020 22:19

@Ninkanink yes, I feel like that too. All my bags are slouchy and I'm thinking for once, a boxy bag, but I"m going against fashion as I'm not liking the pillow bags in vogue for this year. ALthough I do love Botega bags, but not the pillow shape.

The louis Vuitton Milla makes a channel gabrielle large hobo look dirt cheap! It's an objet d'art that milla

off to google marc jacobs natasha now.

@twosoups1972 I saw a youtube clip of an unboxing of the puzzle and it looked hard to get things in and out. She had a fair bit packed in to it but it was like a jigsaw puzzle getting them in. I couldn't handle that. I love the loewe medium hammock.

OP posts:
WellHolyGodMiley · 26/01/2020 22:30

@Ninkanink nice collection! I love them all. The shape of your mulberry is as pillow shaped as I'd go this season. I'd dig that one back out for the rest of winter. Be first in there will a pillow-ish bag.

WellHolyGodMiley · 26/01/2020 22:37

I like the mulberry keeley, the larger one. That is a serious contender.

It won't let me post an image for some reason, but, this one.

happy birthday to me, from me. It's on the short list
