Hi All,
Apologies if there is another thread about this, but I couldn't find it. So I thought I would start one.
Happy to get it deleted if there is one already, if not - happy unboxing, let's hear what you think :)

Love this, was only thinking yesterday that I needed a new mascara.

I got the wrong thing in mine today. Confused no spoilers but I LOVE it. Although I could have done with a mascara. I don't have the card for mine though...

Chickydoo · 19/12/2019 06:51

Lazy girl dry shampoo by Sam McKnight. Love this & very useful. Great for when you should wash your hair, but just don't have time.
Smells gorgeous

It says it has to be brushed through with a bristle brush, I don’t have one - do you think it’ll still work?

imp2007 · 19/12/2019 07:49

Don't think it will matter I usually scoosh it in with my fingers - never used with a hair drier on cold before I might try that

whatsinthebagwhatcoulditbe · 19/12/2019 08:23

Ooh excellent. Always like a dry shampoo.

I loved loved loved the REN night balm. Really gorgeous product (even if it does feel disconcertingly like Vaseline when you put it on).

The Bobbi Brown mascara is excellent but I found it a bugger to get off. It has given me the worst panda eyes this morning! Maybe that's what they mean by "smoky eye".

imp2007 · 19/12/2019 13:35

I'm loving the deodorant - for something I was initially unexcited about it's turned out to be one of my winners

Chickydoo · 20/12/2019 08:33

Omorovicza face spray.
I have lost the card already.
Think it is for setting make up, and cooling down etc. Smells nice, a bit extravagant, think this might be passed to DD

Tried the dry shampoo this morning it's fab gave my hair tons of volume.

Pomegranatepompom · 20/12/2019 12:45

Unless the products for the last few days are amazing, I think I'll try a different one next year. There are quite a few things so far that I'm a bit meh about. It's not as good a previous years imo.

whatsinthebagwhatcoulditbe · 20/12/2019 14:04

I too am a surprise lover of the deodorant. It smells amazing and it actually works! Without aluminium! Miracle.

I've loved about 70% of it so far I think. Will definitely purchase again next year.

Bit sad that I tried the Dermalogica eye cream (RRP £49!!) and it has given me a rash under my eye Confused

Chickydoo · 21/12/2019 07:45

Rather pleased that we have 3x skin Laundry masks. One would be good, 3 is excellent
Am going to use tomorrow.

Going to use the face mask tonight - might let DH have one too!!

I think there will be some good ones to come in the final few days x

Expo · 21/12/2019 12:26

Ooo I have loved it. Much better than Jo Malone that gets a bit same-y. Most of the products I will use but am scared about the deodorant as without aluminium it can’t even be described as an anti-perspirant - only a deodorant eg it masks the sweat smell as opposed to stopping the sweat altogether. But reading the reviews I will give it a go. Am scared I will get wet patches.

imp2007 · 21/12/2019 14:15

Expo give it a try I was dubious but love it - probably the item I am most likely to re-purchase!

whatsinthebagwhatcoulditbe · 21/12/2019 18:29

Me too! No sweat patches in sight, even after lugging my 11-month-old around London in a baby carrier all day yesterday. It really works.

Riverviews · 21/12/2019 23:17

Has anyone managed to make the glossy eye shadow stay for more that 5 minutes yet?

GinandGingerBeer · 21/12/2019 23:41

No @Riverviews it's completely useless. I'm going to try it as a base for a shimmery shadow from my new BB palette, see if it's good for that.
I've gone and lost my bloody perfume and I loved it! So cross with myself as I wanted it for xmas day. Sad

Riverviews · 22/12/2019 06:28

Oh no!! Sorry you lost the perfume.

My favourites so far are the deodorant and the lipstick.

TerpsichoreanMuse · 22/12/2019 07:19

Love today's! I'd really prefer more makeup - it's useful to get me to try something new.

imp2007 · 22/12/2019 08:33

Nope no joy at all with the eye laquer - that has been the worst one for me - real shame as I liked the product from that brand last year and was looking forward to trying it. Really hope you find your perfume that's a bit gutting x

Chickydoo · 22/12/2019 08:53

A winner
Nars blusher in Orgasm/Laguna.
Love this Hooray!

None of the make up will suit my skin tone. I’m going to get a different calendar next year. I’m quite disappointed, this is my 4 year getting the liberty one, previous years were better. I had high hopes, especially with the price hike. My m and s one had some really great stuff fir a fraction of the price.

Chickydoo · 22/12/2019 09:14

I've really enjoyed the calendar.
Loved the Ren night cream, have been using it & my skin looks great. I have finished the bath oil already. Love the face oil and hand wash.
Will use one of the masks tonight.
The dry shampoo will get used (already have one open). I will 100% use today's blusher.
Will give away the lipstick & shiny eye shadow, & my DD has already pinched the Aveda and the perfume. Overall I am very happy with the calendar this year.

spinduffy · 22/12/2019 09:25

I’m largely disappointed too compared to other years. I have preferred my M&S one!
