So I followed advice from here and purchased some foundation in Primark. Best suggestion I have followed on here. And I have followed a few ... My question now is what else do you recommend from Primark cosmetics?

Their eyebrow sticks are really good - powder, pencil and brush all in one and only £2. Only problem is they tend to snap in half easily so you have to be careful with them!

PeterRouseTheFleshofMankind · 23/11/2019 12:01

I have only tried the foundation actually (the £2.50 one in the squeezy tube) but it's become my all time favourite, it's unbelievably good!

So I do think I should try other things from there as well.....

Was wondering what their mascaras are like.

The gold tubed one is amazing...£2.50 and the best I tried I years! I tried the silver tube one which was good but not as good!

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 23/11/2019 18:39

yes to the eyebrow pencil that also has the powder in it, just bought one today to replace a previous one

also have a really nice double ended lipstick/lip pencil which is really nice

I use their medium cover concealer and find it excellent. I dab it on and let it dry for a few seconds then blend. Must try the foundation.

MrsFoxPlus4Again · 23/11/2019 23:03

I enjoy their lip products & highlighters don’t rate much else

BeFire · 24/11/2019 09:31

I agree with the eyebrow stick and the gold mascara.
Which foundation did you get? I'm struggling with knowing what colour to buy.

BeFire · 24/11/2019 09:31

Oh the lustre lipsticks. 90p and the only lipsticks I've ever really gotten on with.

dontgobaconmyheart · 24/11/2019 12:03

Not sure if it counts but the £1 Gel effect nail polish is so good. One coat, quick drying, lasts ages. Probably the best I've tried. Love the Double Wear dupe foundation (in the square glass bottle) too.

I think I'll try this highly praised gold mascara next as the Revlon one I'm using (which is very meh, especially for the £11 is cost) is about to give up the ghost.

slinkysaluki · 24/11/2019 17:45

I use the Perfect Finish foundation in the tube, bought it to try not expecting much but is great, i use the beige colour and its perfect. The gel nail varnish is really good too

Everythingmagnolia · 24/11/2019 17:49

I have never bought any make up from Primark, I must have a look!

UpToonGirl · 24/11/2019 18:17

Yes, another one saying the gold tube mascara is great, wouldn't bother with anything else now. The EL dupe is pretty good also.

I don't rate their eyeshadow palettes at all.

Is it cruelty free, always presumed it wasn’t but actually haven’t got a clue.

FAQs · 24/11/2019 18:20

Just checked and it is!

This is a handy thread! May get some present top ups here!

I use their primer water then perfect finish foundation in the tube, colour is vanilla, really good , lasts me all day at work if I put it on with a sponge. The eye shadows are rubbish but also tempted to try the mascara now

Ponks · 24/11/2019 19:48

I have been using an eyebrow pencil from Primark- great - and recently got a matte lipstick which is a great colour and pretty long lasting but has a tendency to fall out of the tube 😁

Yubaba · 24/11/2019 19:54

I like the Matt lipsticks, I have 5 or 6 and they’re only 90p!

MiniTheMinx · 24/11/2019 20:35

I have a mascara that's good. It's silver in a silver box, I think it's called wonderlash, it's brilliant. Shall try the foundation next.

Not make up, but the silver tubes of shampoo and conditioner are very good. It's £1 and it's as good as any expensive salon product I've purchased. I have very thick coarse dry hair and the macadamia one left my hair very shiny and soft.

Auldspinster · 24/11/2019 20:51

Their eyeliners are very good.

Aprilcherry04 · 24/11/2019 21:32

I love the lustre lipsticks. Bought a foundation yesterday but it's the wrong colour as there were very few testers available to try.

SouthernComforts · 24/11/2019 21:40

The £1 lashes!! They are so good I buy a few packs every time I go.

I like the tub of make up remover pads, in a pink tub.

I want to try their concealer but they never have my shade in my nearest store.

myidentitymycrisis · 24/11/2019 22:40

I have the finishing powder in Ivory it seems ok

Rosere · 24/11/2019 23:25

The concealer. Absolutely unreal.
