That is all.
They’re a hobby when I’ve free time, my armour when I’m feeling low and just all round fun too.
Ebay and charity shops are my favoured hunting grounds as I love a good rag pick but clothes shopping on the high st I also enjoy.
Just had to share. 😊

@ilovecherries I think we have been on a few threads together! I also have alopecia hence the shaved head, and I had enough left in the middle for the Mohican, which changes colour regularly Grin I spent years with arse length thick heavy hair (very jealous of your beautiful mane Hairy!) which I loved but actually I love my current hair too. Some days I think I prefer it as it's such low maintenance.

I never think clothes are a waste of money as I am lucky enough to have some very good quality clothes from my grandmother (50s/60s/70s) which I wear regularly, so I buy good quality pieces myself that my DDs will inherit (and actually wear now!). So they are an investment. I do buy cheap frivolous crap very occasionally though Wink

I think the best quality shoes (and bed linen!) you can afford are certainly an investment, and I think handbags are too (say that on AIBU on MN and burn to a crisp Wink)

I'm a bit torn about mean sprited posts. I hate it when it's done to a poster who's obviously low on confidence and the ageist ones drive me wild. But I wouldn't like it either if these boards were reduced to bland 'Wow - you go girl!' type comments. Clothes elicit strong opinions and that's partly why I like talking about them

I agree there Flo . In fairness, I enjoy any reasoned discussion and it's rare on here for there to be a bit of a mean post. I think they sometimes occur when connected to things being either 'mumsy' or 'muttony' (both terms that I really hate as they have so much potential to make other women feel rubbish about themselves).

Hey Hounds!
I bet Kate Bush has rocked some OUTFITS in her time.
