I’ve had fat reducing injections

I got them today. I haven’t told anyone. I’ve lost 5 lbs and I’m happy with how small I am except the tub at the bottom of my tummy. I’m booking in to get my love handles done if this is successful.

Apparently these have always been huge everywhere... other than here. They’ve been around for years but are just entering the UK market.

Fingers crossed. I just wanted to tell someone!

£180 pretty cheap...

Well you lose weight but don't change your eating habits so only going to put it on. Change your eating habits and it'll go anyways 🤷🏾‍♀️

oohnicevase · 26/10/2019 07:56

Please post a before and after .

Sohololopopo · 28/10/2019 06:44

Sorry everyone, no one posted in a couple of days. There’s still bruising and swelling but it’s all normal.

She is trained, she’s a nurse by trade, but has taken the aesthetic route.

@Moominfan I’m 8st 2 I don’t want to lose any more weight really I’m getting rid of the very hard to lose bits due to genetics rather than unhealthy habits.

My tub has reduced though.

Will hopefully post a pic next week of before and after :)

@minesagin37 yes I signed a consent and read all of the effects it could have on me, which with everything has to be taken seriously, and if any were to happen it would never be worth it in hindsight but went ahead anyway and all is fine so far:

I’ve had other little bits done, which are higher risk, so!

Following this. I've got love handles from pregnancy which shrink with weight loss but never completely go. I have been considering something like this because they really bother me.

Lardlizard · 29/10/2019 04:30

Wonders if it this would help a c section belly

pinkpantsrock · 31/10/2019 20:51

Any photos?

LuluBellaBlue · 01/11/2019 07:41

Pics please Grin

This sounds too good be true, the side effects can be serious, the reason diabetics can't have it is because there is a serious chance of sugar levels rocketing (also affecting non diabetics). There is also no research into how safe it is long term and some eminent plastic surgeons refuse to use it.

Ginkythefangedhellpigofdoom · 01/11/2019 11:52

I would like to see the pictures when your ready soho.

NonUrinatInVentum · 01/11/2019 11:55

Good lord, people will pay do anything for a quick fix.

As someone with extensive knowledge of physiology and biochemistry I call snake oil. Save your money.

GrumpyHoonMain · 01/11/2019 11:59

I was told not to do this if I still want children as the needles can introduce infection. Were the infection risks explained to you properly?

thenightsky · 01/11/2019 12:02

Wonder if it would get rid of the back fat... the bits that bulge out over my bra specifically.

I just did a very quick google and it seems its risky in that it can also destroy other cells, as well as fat. I don't really want my muscles or skin dissolving!

SueDoeName · 01/11/2019 12:05

Following- I have jowls .

Hope you’re healing well.

I’d love to see your before and after pics

Sohololopopo · 03/11/2019 17:23

Sorry everyone I will ask for my before pic and will post at the end of this week.

The fat is dissolved into water, it had reduced my stomach you will be glad to know, but I believe it works better one those who have a bigger area of fat. My unfortunate podge is mostly genetics it seems, but I can honestly say they are brilliant and will most likely get my hips done next week!

BuzzingtheBee · 03/11/2019 17:24

I want this done!

Sohololopopo · 03/11/2019 17:26

I appreciate that it isn’t for everyone and I can assure you I am not posting as snake oil but as someone who yes wanted a quick fucking fix! Don’t we all?! There has been no infection, the soreness is still there, but all seems to be as it should be!

It has been used for years in the likes of Italy. And is becoming increasingly popular here in the UK. There are risks I was very very nervous the needle is huge it’s all very yuck but it’s been one week and a half and there is a visible difference! I will get the pics to you end of this week everyone who is interested in seeing.

There is a strong view that these injections pose significant risks by causing a rapid rise in blood cholesterol levels and a risk of embolism.
Also risk of sudden increase in blood sugar levels causing hyperglycaemia.
Fat will simply be stored in other fat cells. The amazing results photos show different postures.
The substance injected is not licensed for use as a medicine in the U.K. This means it is not available on prescription. The ‘clinicians’ are not acting in accordance with their profession guidance.
A nurse may not prescribe unless they have a specific independent prescriber qualification.
Don’t be sucked in.

CherryPavlova · 03/11/2019 17:35

Sounds like the OP is marketing.

TheHumansAreDefinitelyDead · 03/11/2019 17:40

It also can mess up your salt and sugar levels you do not want to mess with your body like this?

Sohololopopo · 03/11/2019 18:15

🙄

I will post a natural photo for those of you who wish to see if they work without breathing in etc like a lot of pics.

And for those of you who aren’t interested, well that’s bloody fine. I’m not ‘snake oiling’ or ‘marketing’. I haven’t a clue how I would be doing that without providing something such as a link or a particular clinic or such information.
