Nice dress or not?

I'm looking for a dress to attend a wedding in the USA at Christmas. Is this too matronly? I'm hopeless at style. Usually wear jeans.

@WhisperingJesse you've got a great fugure but the dress is definitely not wedding gear! Not sure what styles you prefer but try out Asda for budget bargains. I'm mid 50's and I wouldn't wear either dress. Way too dreary and dull in my view
