What are you all buying/wearing for Autumn/Winter

Up here in rainy Scotland, it is cool and wet and the schools go back this week and next, so I am feeling winter is nigh. I am also in the process of losing weight 1 stone down and 1.5-2 stone to go and for the first time in ages I feel ready to take an interest in what to wear rather than what just fits. So come you girls lots of links to inspire me.

Love those Next crossover strap shoes Cod linked - I'd decided to have those.

Love the Boden knit dresses this season too.

And I heart coloured tights.

hennes doing most gorgeous 3/4 length grey audrey hep trousers. to die for. except at £25 you don't have to.

and i've already raved about their maryjanes (suede, huge block heel, round toe make legs eleven appear out of nowhere £30 ffs).

skirts are prob for me (not pencil which i can do, but anything vaguely a-line).

i'm very very excited about boots....what is going to be aroudn apart from booties (shoe/boot things)?

staff are crap and queues can be long, unless weekday mornings. lunchtimes and weekends awful.

and sometimes bigger sizes than usual. for eg. trousers are 12, cami is 14 and vest top is 10 all from hennes.

i forsee a crappy autumn look, fashion has eaten itself.

does anyone from 1985 remember that label that specialised on the double white stripe on the leg? it's been driving me mad for ages

Gobbledigook · 12/08/2007 23:43

I will be after a grey polo neck and some mary janes for Autumn/Winter, not really needing alot else as I have a capsule wardrobe that I just add bits and pieces too each season. I think my black pencil skirt is going to be worn loads this season.
