Holland and Barrett Beauty Advent Calendar 2019

Mine has arrived! Not opening until December (obviously! ) but thought I’d get a thread started.

Details:
25 days, priced at £35. Listing states products worth £146 plus a chance to win a luxury spa break.
I used some of my H&B points towards this, and also went through Quidco. Shipping is free.

Not sure about today’s, think it’s the first one I won’t use. My dd put it on this morning and said “mummy it’s nice”(she’s 2). So she doesn’t agree with me!

The eye mask smells and feels lovely. Again, not something I'd have bought but I get migraines so think I might use it to help with that.

I have fake eyelashes so can’t use the mask ( burnt mine off recently... long story) and hate the smell of lavender

Today's is a body wash in a rose scent ... lovely, smells like Turkish Delight. And a voucher for money off the full size version.

Really happy with today’s offering. I love rose, and having the coupons is genius. Really impressed with H&B (again!)

Todays product is loads better, I love the sizes of the products. Perfect for travelling.
Is everyone saving up their vouchers to grab everything full size?

I am developing serious calendar envy and have already put a note in next years calendar to buy this one! I have a L'occitane one and although its nice stuff and the small sizes will be useful for travelling, it is a bit samey.

Does anyone remember when it went on sale this year?

Also, when do you all use the toner? Does it go after moisturiser?

Toner goes before moisturiser:
Cleanse, tone, moisturise.

Rule of thumb is anything water based goes before anything oil based.

Thank you. I don’t have the calendar but have had the toner for a while and use it before bed as a sleep spray because the smell is so relaxing. This has reminded me to use start using it properly.

Really pleased with today's! Wanted to try this for ages.

Money off vouchers are valid until end of Jan which is great as there's time to give all the products a good try beforehand.

Converted to using soap rather than shower gel this year so am pleased with today's!

What's been everyone's favourite so far?

My favourite is the Weleda skin food, feels so good on the skin. Then the lip balm which I'm using every day, and the serum. I woke up with a puffy face today and used the jade roller after the serum - it felt so cooling and soothing. And I've had a few tags with the festive oil. Love most of the items actually.

I actually love the soap. It smells amazing! Can’t choose a favourite yet but up there is the serum, scrub and probably the soap.

Don’t use hairspray but willing to give this a go!

I don’t use hair spray either, so I might gift it to a friend. But it looks alright.

Absolutely love this calendar. Will definitely buy it again next year. I’m pretty much using all the products already which is rare for me with a beauty calendar. Really well done H&B!

I ran out of deodorant yesterday and today I have a new one. I actually quite like it so far. Quite pleased with today’s. Wonder what tomorrow’s will be?

Sweet orange essential oil today. Happy with this - I’ll use it in my burner and in the bath.
