Are the darts 'unfortunate' because they remind people that women have nipples?

She looks good in it but the LK Bennet montana dress looks much nicer and is £2000 cheaper.

I think the green is pretty, but I'm not a fan of the dress. I've always lived her hair, and I love her in the dress Fancy posted.

Style is ok ( except nipple- esque) darts, but the colour😖 its not exactly seasonal either is it. More like Christmas tree green.
I am seriously wondering about Kates undies. I have a similar shape to her and am a fan of a slim fitying dress. It's incredibly hard to get underwear that shows no mark at all. You can get close to it but she never seems yo have a mark showing. She must wear a bra as I can't imagine at her saw she's got massive boobs or implants, even the best fit in the world shows a little. I have amazing dresses where an actual bra is made to measure as part of the dress but can't be in hers, wrong fabric and style. Any ideas???

For me, Spanx. Not the hard core ones but I wear Higher Power panties if I’ve got a clingy dress.

I think Kate likes thong panties - in her early days didn’t we see her butt when her dress flew up on an airfield? She may also wear a taped bra rather than the real thing.

Having said that, that dress is just too tight. Half an inch everywhere would be much more flattering.

I couldn't care less if the dress shows that women have nipples but I personally wouldn't want to show it as obviously as in that dress if I knew there were going to be photos everywhere.

Kate’s dress today is much nicer, lovely colour and it seems to fit her perfectly. William also looks very smart.

Well I am not a Royal expert but I had a look at old photos of her and she was always very slim.

I love the colour and style of the dress today (much better than yesterday) but it does look a bit loose on the upper part.

well there was a clip of her on the news last night in this dress, and it looked quite different.

Not so tight fitting (so it may have been the wind blowing the dress against her, it may not be that tight)
Colour looked better.

It's very tight! She's very slim but I don't think you should ever see the outline of someone's belly button in a seemingly conservative dress...

It does seem bizarre, though, that women's nipples are seen as something that must be hidden from view. They're not even an exclusively female body part - every person on earth has nipples, and yet having them visible through clothing is seen as a massive faux pas. For women. Men, not so much.
(I realise the darts on this dress aren't actual nipples, but that just makes the whole thing even more ridiculous.)
