Please tell me there is a cheap rip off somewhere?!

I think part of the problem with this dress is the colour. It's a rather cheap shade of green, just slightly off. It looks more autumnal than height of summer. Pippa's dress was perfect.

I think the word I'm looking for is drab.

@steppemum I understand your point but the preppy granny chic thing is fashionable. I think she looks a million times more fashion forward than she has in ages. She takes far more risks now and I admire her for that. Id much rather see her in dresses that are a bit edgy and questionable than boring pretty dresses that would suit everyone.

She has the ability to make any outfit staid and sensible.

I much prefer the way Meghan dresses - she is much more stylish.

They weren't nipples. That's why they were "unfortunately placed".

TBH the only thing that matters is that she likes the dress and is happy in it though.

I agree with others, unfortunately Kate seems to choose items which don’t suit her body shape.
My own Dd has the same body shape as KM and looks amazing in so many things, but she’d look awful in that green dress!

I saw this dress & thought eek! It’s really not flattering, it emphasises how narrow her torso & hips are & her long body. It would have looked better if it flared higher up. I also think it looks odd because it’s appears tight but completely unsexy at the same time.
I don’t really like criticising other women but KM has an uncanny knack for looking frumpy which is weird for a slim, well groomed, attractive woman. I’d love to see her with a more relaxed hairstyle & in a pair of relaxed jeans not those bloody skin tight ones.

She is really thin, obviously not that thin naturally given her uni pics. People usually get heavier with age.

The fact she was a little heavier at uni doesn't mean she's not 'thin naturally' I've always been slim, but was at my heaviest during my time at uni mainly because I'd discovered booze. The fact she's always been slim since then, gains little weight in pregnancy and is back to her pre-pregnancy figure very quickly suggests that that is, indeed, her 'natural' size.

I don't have hips either. I do have thighs though. Nightmare to dress.

Or that she is extremely disciplined with what she eats which is far more likely as she's been getting smaller and smaller every year.

She reminds me of Victoria Beckham - both used to be heavier, but not overweight. Now they look painfully thin. I think it has aged Kate too, her skin looks quite slack for her age

To me she looks oddly naked in it? I don’t knowing why.

Poor woman, I’d hate to be the object of so much scrutiny.
