I love this dress and it suits KM perfectly IMO.

OP I haven't read everyone's posts (too much slagging her off when she obviously looked gorgeous!!) so apologies if someone's already sugggested this one.

Didn't like the dress either.

She looks pretty and seems happy, but I would be a bit concerned about anyone looking that thin - I think she did look better when she had more flesh (such as when a student).

A lot of people slagging her off simply think she’s too skinny, which is fair as she wasn’t always like this.

I know you asked for a cheaper version of the dress, but I thought it looked appalling on her. It would look better on someone with an hourglass figure.

I think it’s clear that if she’s not under weight, she’s very close to it, and have no idea what motivates people to pretend she’s not. Like the imaginary hips 🤣

I never understand comments like this, I comment on Kim kardashian bum, I don’t want to look like either. I used to do modelling & to look that slim in photos means in real life Kate is incredibly slender. Most people even naturally slim ones fill out a bit in their 30s/40s particularly after having kids.

I love this style of dress it’s very 40s but the person who said they were designed for curves is absolutely right. She is way too thin to carry it off..but then I am curvy so would say that wouldn’t I. 😉

It’s the faux concern for her health which pisses me off

Arms are toned and not skeletal
Breasts proportionate to her size (she’s never been big breasted)
She’s thin yes. But not worryingly. I would disagree she doesn’t have hips, she goes out in out. Tits, waist, hips. She simply isn’t up and down with no curve.

She would make me feel like a whale next to her but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s too thin Who knows? Some people are naturally v thin, some people barely eat. I’d be v thin if I was in the spotlight she’s in though. She looks happy. I hope they are as happy a family as they look.

Regarding her weight - I meet plenty of women who are similar size to her. They do a lot of exercise and eat little. I imagine most people who had her lifestyle would be very slender.

OP you’re imagining all that there are no hips. Tiny breasts (not particularly related to weight, I agree) her arms are sinewy.
as for whether she’s worryingly thin who knows? Diana had a long standing eating disorder the public didn’t know about.

Like a PP I’ve met her at an event and she is extremely thin.
For comparison I’ve also interviewed Kate bosworth and Sarah Michelle geller (amongst other, also thin actors) and until seeing Kate they were the skinniest stars I’ve ever seen- if you compare photos they don’t look dangerously skinny either

I love Kate's style usually but this was a no for me.

The colour is great. I'm not knocking her figure I would love to be slimmer (I used to be a similar size to her) but it doesn't do a lot for her I don't think.

I'm pretty sure everyone on this thread values their first born a lot more than you.

I only commented on the colour, but I'm very happy with my body shape. In fact more now that I'm a true 8 than when I was a 6.

However, as someone who used to be a 6, she seems happy and healthy enough. She managed to conceive 3 children, which is hard if you're unhealthy underweight.

I worry more about people overweight than underweight. Us, on the underweight side tend to live longer and be healthier, certainly more than those on the top side of the scale. (And don't give me anecdotal evidence)

People should really stop body shaming skinny people too.

I saw a dietician last year - allegedly the same one that Kate saw after having George. I am short and small boned and to not gain weight I have to eat very little.

I think Kate is genetically slim but no doubt she is very very disciplined. I guess if we all photographed as much as her then we would be on the very slender side.

I think the dress is a great choice. She couldn't have worn whites again and the Wimbledon green is lovely.

It looked so much better the first time she wore it when it seemed to be better pressed. She does look awfully thin in it but they're a very athletically built family who all seem to be naturally thin.

I like MM choice but I don't think it was right on her current frame because the black waist band drew attention to the one area which has expanded. I think the pairing of the shirt with the skirt was nice though.

I only reached 50kg (except during pregnancy) well into my 40s.

I never ate very little (as in I ate what I fancied).

We can't tell what people do or don't do, or need or don't need.

The thing is that some people ARE thin and have no trouble at all staying thin naturally.

Natural or not, she's not unhealthy thin at all. No matter who you compare her to.
And it's not more acceptable than commenting on people's flab.

No, that's Gill Brook, the wife of the chairman of the club. She usually sits beside Kate in the Royal Box and acts as hostess.

She has form for unfortunate dart placement - not least her wedding dress.

The picture with the tennis players reminds me of the contrast between Catherine Zeta Jones and Renee Zelwegger in Chicago.

I love the green dress and this style and wish I had the figure to carry it off.
