Couldn't think of any sort of creative title, I'm afraid! Link to old thread

Ooh I like that denim jacket Nink. Oasis are always good for a denim jacket, I have a couple but I like the look and that darker one.

GinandGingerBeer · 23/07/2019 10:56

Earrings are stunning! Love them.

Ninkaninus · 23/07/2019 10:58

Ohhh lots of posts in the meantime!

Gin your festival festivities sound fab, and the outfits even more so!

Laska boredom is awful isn’t it, especially when it’s pointless boredom IYKWIM.

soups hope you’re all enjoying Stockholm and that DD has cheered up. Definitely go for a coffee and pastries - Scandinavian pastries are a cut above (obviously I might be a tad biased...). Maybe try the princess cake which looks dainty and beautiful and is also delicious!

Ninkaninus · 23/07/2019 11:04

Yes Gin it’s exactly what I wanted - I was gutted earlier in the summer as I missed out on their other Nancy in the dark wash (but not as dark as this) - I’ve had to get rid of my other denim jackets whilst clearing out excess clothing as they don’t fit anymore and I don’t anticipate ever getting back down to that size, so I was disappointed when it sold out (I had been eBaying with a view to buying one with % of proceeds). Anyway I’m glad I missed out because I think I like this indigo colour even better, so it all worked out okay. 😊

Love the festival hat! 👍👍 🌷🌼🌺🌸🌹

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:07

Managed to get this in my size

ANOKHI COTTON VOILE SHIRT in teal so please although i wish i could have got in for JL prices! Its a bit pricey. Now am going to have to make decisions about everything as i cannot keep everything!

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:09

Oh i loved the triangle one. I would have bought that and posted the one that i have just bought back [or might not have!!]
Love the paisley dress too :) so lovely. Did you size down?

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:12

Ooops just might have ordered it! I will decide about everything tomorrow. I ordered both the 10 and the 12 to see.

Laska2Meryls · 23/07/2019 11:16

nink I meant to ask are you in Denmark? I love scandi style. Really love the Two Danes range. We have Danish reles- in - law, love visting.. lovely country and our Danish family parties are such fun ! ( And rather alcohol-fuled! ) Yy to Scandi pastries. Esp the Kranskage (yum)

Laska2Meryls · 23/07/2019 11:19

neverno I actually got the 16 ! (Those wretched boobs and shoulders, I often need to size up in dresses ) .. Hope its not too big .. didnt see the blouse ..

ilovecherries · 23/07/2019 11:23

I hated my last few weeks at work Laska and as I worked in organisational development, I seemed to spend the entire time supporting people who were being 'encouraged' to accept a VR package. Then on my last day, I walked out the door after 30 years service without even a card. It was awful, and took me a long time to recover from.

Anyway, I have just managed to snag the Toast paisley shirt I love, that never has. Have been stalking it for weeks, but kept missing it. Unfortunately not at the JL price, from Toast itself with their crazy postage, but hey, I'm happy :) Will be nice for London with culottes.

Laska no, I’m in the U.K. I’ve not actually lived in Denmark for over 20 years now!

I love it there, it’s still home to me although I feel very at home here in England too. I really don’t go home often enough!

ilovecherries · 23/07/2019 11:26

I had the pomegranate version of that shirt in my bag the other day never, and someone else snagged it as I was checking out.

Welcome back @laska, back to earth with a bump eh, but for the last time, next year there won't be any work to face after your holiday Smile
I'd definitely join a hush/fasting/ diet thread. I really need to motivate myself. My chins feel heavy and my bum feels droopy! Might pluck up the courage to get on the scales shortly.
Might do a low carb tea tonight of ribeye steak, portobello mushroom and a rocket salad with some halloumi & chilli. Kids like it so it saves any adaptations. If I only had myself to think about, dieting would be much easier.
Love those sunglasses @ella.
@ cherries don't be so hard on yourself, you've been through so much, you're allowed a melt downThanks
Bloody Hermes have just been, didn't even attempt to ring the bell, just lobbed the parcel over the back gate into the garden Angry
It's only the rest of my sale next stuff, all of which has been dire so now I have to take it all back.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:37

I don't want to spend money on things only for them to become too big. So, I will buy it slightly smaller so it fits!

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:38

I am happy to start a thread but it will need to be on the diet threads as it will otherwise piss someone off and get moved! Are we all happy with that?

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:39

Had my pear and cinnamon porridge this morning @Laska!

Ninkaninus · 23/07/2019 11:39

(Also mmmmm...kransekage. And good Danish beer! Do you get the hotdogs when you’re over there Laska? If not, you must try them.)

neveradullmoment99 · 23/07/2019 11:40

What shall we call it? Hushistas journey to being slim and trim?!

Ninkaninus · 23/07/2019 11:41

Something with health and happiness/wellbeing? I prefer to focus on that rather than size (but that’s just me, either way I’m happy really).

Laska2Meryls · 23/07/2019 11:51

yes great, never I was going to a diet thread but haven't really been back here up till now..
Re dress and hopeful future size, yes i agree but the shoulders wont change and when I tried the cream one on in J L it didnt seem to big on the back for me.. Im pretty sure that I wouldn't get into the 12 on the top even slimmer . i would have tried a 14 though if they had had one on..

Laska2Meryls · 23/07/2019 11:52

Or Hushistas talk food and wellbeing?

Laska2Meryls · 23/07/2019 11:56

nink dont!! I am supposed to be dieting!! .. oh but hotdogs with remoulade and crispy fried onions.. ( they sell those onions over here, I could eat a whole tub !! )

Ninkaninus · 23/07/2019 12:02

Mmmmmmm I really miss remoulade. We bought a few bottles once and used to eat it with our chips, fish, roast beef, loads of things really, and we missed it so much when we ran out. It’s such a versatile condiment and really tasty! I might have to order some now.
