We need @len to knock some sense into us and move us to the no spend bench! (Hope you’re having a wondrous time btw in Ibiza whilst we all shiver in the damp British summer. Otherwise see attached 🤣)

Ella we’re counting on your sobering hushita influence in the meantime! Grin

Okay night night all

Gin Grin love that you looked for a Soy skirt! Yes it’s maxi at the back on us shorties but the front is a couple of inches shorter.
It works really well though, you’ll ❤️ It!

SoyYo · 18/06/2019 21:39

It actually reminds me of the Flamenco 💃 dancing girl emoji.
A very happy skirt to go dancing in!

neveradullmoment99 · 18/06/2019 22:15

I wanted those gorgeous sandals but sadly they are OOS in a 6 from the start. Pity. I would have definitely bought them.

justilou1 · 18/06/2019 22:16

@soy - rather love everything except the camel.... it looks like it’s lost in your navel. If it was on the side or higher up, I’d say go for it, but somewhere else.... (I used to have a wolf T-shirt that my son bought me that was relegated to pajamas because it’s eyes were right on my nipples.... not a good look! It also gave the wolf a rather lumpy, misshapen head!)
@laska - I reallylike skirt/top combo and also thought it was a dress. Perhaps with a crocheted belt you’d get away with it. The colours really suit you, and the shape is flattering and very summery! Also, looking very soigne in Aster scarf!
@Cake - love the dress! Very flattering and think the shape and colours suit you. I think you will find it’s an immensely practical purchase that you get lots of wear out of!

Ladies... you know how I said I was going to win lotto last night? Well I did!!! Not quite the $70 million. I won $33!!! I’m reinvesting it so I can come and drink gin and buy Hush with you lot!

twosoups1972 · 18/06/2019 22:36

Yay, good for you @just Smile

I am sitting here absolutely stuffed with curry - dh and I went for an Indian as we had no dc this evening. @SoyYo I am also contemplating the fabulous red skirt!

GinandGingerBeer · 18/06/2019 22:38

Haha!
#itshouldabeenme @justilou1 Grin
Nice one! Get some passionfruit gin Gin

GinandGingerBeer · 18/06/2019 22:40

Do it @soups then we can all go to Spain, dance flamenco 💃 and drink Gin

twosoups1972 · 18/06/2019 22:58

Count me in @GinandGingerBeer

Actually does anyone fancy a Hush meet up? This is such a fabulous thread with a great group of women

Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 23:26

I'm definitely up for a meet up Soups would be such fun

Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 23:27

Shopping, cocktails and dancing 🥂💃

neveradullmoment99 · 19/06/2019 06:17

Debating over sizes. Oversized 12 or neater 10. What looks best?

Laska2Meryls · 19/06/2019 07:05

Morning! They both look good but I think I prefer oversize in the shirt, The arms look better . How do they feel? Think mine may come today or tomorrow..

Ellapaella · 19/06/2019 07:11

10 @neveradullmoment99

Ellapaella · 19/06/2019 07:12

Cross post with laska there! I agree the sleeves of 12 look good as you can roll up a bit, I like the nearness of the 10 though.

Laska2Meryls · 19/06/2019 07:13

Nope. Just tracked it... Toast say dispatched but not in post office system yet, Poo! why do Toast take so long? (am spoilt with Hush friends delivery )

Laska2Meryls · 19/06/2019 07:37

It's v close thing! I do like the10 on you as well and the neater sleeves may be more practical.. there. That's no help at all !! I'd better get going...

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 19/06/2019 07:41

@ella Thats the way i feel! I like the neatness of the 10 but like the oversized too! Good length, better with leggings. @laska - its soft cotton. Bit high a collar and a bit stiff there. Hoping it will soften.

ilovecherries · 19/06/2019 09:27

Woke up today to see I have 3G on my phone (although my MiFi on the same network isn’t working at all, having been fine when we arrived). Anyway, just popping in to say hello - can’t load any pictures but sure you will all be looking fab. And I have a great big shiny Halo. We’ve walked for miles every day -10 miles along Caledonian canal yesterday and it’s nice reconnecting with DH a bit just walking and chatting. Feeling slightly less panicked about retirement now! Today it’s 🥾 on as we are off to walk up Cairngorm. See you soon!

SoyYo · 19/06/2019 09:45

Morning! Pretty full on work day today so will try catch up as and when.

I’m definitely up for a meet! WineGin

never it’s hard to tell between the two sizes, both look really good it’s a great shirt! I think I prefer the 12 because loose is the vibe of the style and could also be useful come the autumn with a long sleeve top underneath while retaining its flowiness? Ultimately it’s what you prefer as the 10 doesn’t look tight at all.

cherries sounds like a super healthy and restorative break. Nice to read you.

justi you won the lottery! Full moon luck! And comment on camel T made me laugh. Yes it’s gone back.

Thanks again everyone for the lovely comment on yesterday’s haul. Postman has just arrived with the final parcel (Brighton sandals and Monaco trousers: previous seasons stock on sale) but will try a bit later and report back.
Hope you all have a good day whatever you are up to.

justilou1 · 19/06/2019 10:03

@neveradullmoment99- when do you envision wearing the shirt? For a tunic-y, holiday vibe, I’d stick with the 12, but if you want more wear with jeans, for example, I’d go with the 10. It will loosen up over time.

justilou1 · 19/06/2019 10:10

Oh, and I have re-invested the lottery win as the lotto has jackpotted to $80m for next week. Keep fingers crossed pls! Needed cheering up after yesterday’s visit to the dermatologist - had the comment that strikes fear into the heart of every Aussie “I really don’t like the look of that mole....” and ended up having four biopsies. Can’t wash my hair until Friday. (How ironic!) Pretty sure I resemble a greasy, mangy Tom cat after a fight today.

Laska2Meryls · 19/06/2019 10:20

Justlou good that they check on moles though, it's such a bother trying to get that sort of thing done here.. I did finally manage to get one looked at (and cut off a couple of years ago, but it took some doing . ) I am wearing the Pomona scarf today ! ( With Chamonix and granite green frayed linen T ) . Scarf is Def going on holiday with me . Love that it's a cotton mix , and it's big enough to use as a sarong.. ( although a bit see throughbut thats ok with swimmers under)

justilou1 · 19/06/2019 11:14

@Laska - I went there specifically to get a full-body skin scan. I have never had one before and thought it was high time. We have a genetic predisposition for melanoma in my family, hence my avoidance of the sun!!! It was rather intimidating, as I am not remotely inclined to become a naturist - she was very thorough, looking between toes, under nails, etc, 🤢🤢🤢....She even sifted through my hair like a monkey looking for fleas and two of the biopsies were on my scalp!!! (Heads bleed a lot!) BUT Australia is probably leading the way as far as skin cancer awareness and we pay for our medical appointments, so we are empowered to make demands....

twosoups1972 · 19/06/2019 12:16

@never tricky one, I keep clicking between the 2 pictures and both look right on you! I prob slightly prefer the smaller one, maybe it comes down to how they feel?

We're off to our overnight spa stay in a while. I was planning on wearing multi coloured stripe Marina skirt but not sure what to wear with it. I asked dh's opinion - he looked up and down at the skirt and said 'something plain' Grin Such a joker!

Dd had a lovely time at prom last night but is a bit moody and grumpy this morning. Let's hope she cheers up soon.
