Went to Bravissimo on Sunday to get fitted....

... and thought they were great! The fitter was really helpful, and from my vague descriptions of what I wanted she somehow managed to find bras I loved. She was very thorough - even suggesting that I try on the different colours I wanted in the same style, just in case there were any tiny differences in fit. She also stressed that quite often you need different sizes in different makes/styles, and I did indeed come out with bras in two different sizes. She didn't rush me at all, and kept bringing different styles and sizes until we were both happy.
I thoroughly recommend them! So much better than my last long and unproductive session in John Lewis

found a good new shop for big boobs this week when i was at home in york - leia. they had a great sale on (much better range of sizes left than bravissimo ), so i got lots of matching knickers for the bras i bought last season. result.

Well....

I am a 32d or 34c...

Couldn't find anything in Bravissimo that I liked (in the 32d that is) though - so I will be off to Debenhams to buy some of those gel filled things you have been talking about.

Bravissimo experience was good though. Didn't feel too embarassed by being small of nork, and got some good advice . I did have to get my norks out though , as I swapped between bras. Luckily, they don't go anywhere of their own accord iykwim

Thank you ladies...

Hoxtonchick, I also like Leia (there's one in Bluewater). Fantastic range and really good fitting.

I'm going to the Leeds branch on Friday to finally get some decent bras!! I am prepared to be very alarmed that I may actually be a G cup if this thread is anything to go by!!!

Happy shopping Katepol - again try on lots of different makes as one style/brand will probably fit you better than the others, that is certainly what my friend and I found.
