• that's it really, how do I get it? I love the smell of freshly showered people, not too perfumed, just lovely and clean smelling. Any recommendations please.

Are you talking actual shower gel, or perfume?

Either, both, I don't know! I just want to smell clean, fresh and soapy!

Dove shower gel the original one

I use bar soap.

Palmolive green soap bars. Pack of 3 in Poundland. It smells so clean! Not perfumed, just fresh!

Clean on me shower gel by Soap & Glory. Lovely clean scent.

Pears soap, not sure you can get it in a perfume though!

My friend smells like this and it was Burberry 'body' perfume. I like it on me too, but it doesn't smell quite as clean.

I was going to recommend the Palmolive green soap bars too - a very fresh, clean smell.

Not the coolest brand in the world but I think J Lo's Glow could be described as a clean just out of the shower fragrance.

Acqua di Palma Colonia cologne. Amazingly lemony but sodding expensive.

Really cheap too.

Perfume parlour make fresh scents like Dove or I think there's even a Lenor scent. Worth a look?

Yes Perfume Parlour, Dove oil. Nivea one is also very soapy smelling.

I really love Dove for that clean smell and L’air du temps perfume by Nina Ricci which is all soft and talc-ey

4160 Tuesdays do an excellent fresh out of the shower lemony one called Invisible Ben. It is DH's standard fragrance, nice and clean. Lovely.

It’s bar soap. Dove or Pears usually. The smell lingers so much longer than the smell of shower gels. If I wash with shower gels I often feel a bit yuck again at the end of the day, but stay fresh all day if I’ve used a bar of soap.

Yeah, do a search on PP for "soap". They do various soapy scents. Can't find the lenor scent. I must've dreamt that.

The soap ... not the body cream ... although the hand cream is gorgeous too .. I have a few tubes on the go

Molton Brown Templetree body wash- the smell lingers all day.

Then Palmolive bars here too. I think they might be a pregnancy craving (although I’ve not quite got to the point of wanting to eat one.... yet!)
