Anyone bought anything from this online store? I like some of the summer dresses but worry they be terrible quality and the risks of sending back and refunds etc

As someone else posted, always, always look on Trustpilot. There are so many of these dodgy types of online stores popping up.

The same company operates under many different names and now they also have addresses in the UK! However returns are always to China at your expense which is very costly. You either don’t get your money back (depending on how you’ve paid) or only get a minimum refund. If you are not sure, do check for contact beforehand!

I suggest reading the Trust Pilot reviews, they are terrible. This company is in China and the clothes than eventually turn up bear no resemblance to the pictures on the web site, I too was tempted but am very glad I looked at all the reviews and then changed my mind.

Google Damensein returns which is what I did to try and get a return address and read hundreds of terrible reviews. All of which I can confirm. Shoddy clothes that are nothing like the pictures. Do not waste your money please

They are based in China. I ordered 3 tops from them. After a month I received two, they eventually informed that third item was no longer available and I received a refund for that. The other two items were very oddly shaped and the material felt cheap. They were unwearable. The cost to return was prohibitive. Eventually they offered me 20% refund. I suspect the photos on their website/ facebook ads are stolen from elsewhere and what you actually get is a cheap, badly made copy. Strongly suggest you avoid.

Do not buy anything from Damensein. Check their reviews by googling Damensein returns...
Their stuff is utter rubbish- wrong sizing, bad quality, nothing like the pictures etc

i know these are from last year however i did buy in December 2019 i was so excited the clothes looked great! However when they finally arrived in Jan 2020 they where awful. Quality was rubbish, see through, badly made, wrong colours and did not look as wonderful as they did on the website. I wanted to return and said i was miss sold. Paypal did nothing to help. They said i can return to china but the parcel would cost more to return than the clothes so i lost out. They refunded me 45% eventually but it ended up being 30% in June 2020. DONT buy honestly absolute rubbish.

i just thought i should let you know i ordered £128 of damensein ladies clothing what a load of rubbish badly made, wonky seams, fabric described as cotton mostly polyester 35% cotton, colour not as described, badly fitting i could go on but you get the picture. i am in the process of trying to return the goods!! Let you know how i get on also i got the impression that it was a German manufacturer

Bumping as I saw their advert on Mumsnet today and was very tempted.

I got stung by this company . All arrived - all rubbish. Sent back to return address on package which turns out just to be an address that does nothing with the goods. Could not get them back to return to address in China, which was only given to me after I started a Paypal claim. Certainly would not want to keep. Lost every penny. Tried to get back money through paypal but no longer had the goods so could not return them. Even so would have cost a lot to return and others said that they didn't receive refunds anyway. A real con of a company. Companies that look into scams advise not to touch this company. Sorry if this is bad news but hopefully it will prevent others from getting stung.
