Lots of great baggy linen trousers on ebay. I can't see the exact ones I have but if you look for lagenlook you will find lots of similar ones.

LuxuryWoman2018 · 03/07/2019 16:56

They’re in China, they’ve had a Facebook page since April, and a quick search shows me they keep changing their name. Steer clear.

Mibmog · 04/07/2019 07:41

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY..It’s a total scam. They are not what they seem.! They have changed theIR name due to bad press.
Read reviews trust pilot.
Now trading under NACYAILSA NOT DAMENSEIN..

squashyhat · 04/07/2019 07:47

I'm glad I found this thread. The advert keeps popping up in an online game I play and I was almost tempted. Narrow escape I think!

LuxuryWoman2018 · 04/07/2019 07:56

If you see adverts on Facebook and you’re tempted there are now page transparency buttons on each business page which will tell you where the company is posting from , China in this case, if they’ve changed their name and you can see what adverts they’re running and when the page was set up, so Nacyailsa mentioned above has had a FB page since February, has 20 followers (family and friends I’d guess) and have hidden comments under their posts. It’s a pretty good new tool for giving an idea if a company is okay.

MorrisZapp · 04/07/2019 08:07

See what I always think about this is, if us women are so keen to spend our money on clothes that these companies click-bait, why doesn't some bright spark make those actual clothes so we can buy them?

There are quite a few untrustworthy type links around fb etc showing beautiful casual wear. Why doesn't someone legit fire in and take my damn money?

LuxuryWoman2018 · 04/07/2019 08:18

I think the clothes exist Morris but they’re poor quality, I reckon some of these companies just nick the images to advertise. I keep seeing ads for heavily discounted Radley bags, also Russel and Bromley, they’re quite clearly scams but people do seem to believe they’ll get a £100 bag for £20, I saw loads of dodgy Michael Kors ads before Christmas too. It’s easier now to check these adverts out but still they keep coming.

mummylovesbatty · 07/07/2019 11:09

Do not buy from this company! Quality and fit poor and have to return to China to get refund!

Lizzym1nt · 08/07/2019 12:35

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEIR CLOTHING IS RUBBISH QUALITY AND SIZING IS WAY OUT. THEIR WEBSITE IS QUITE PROFESSIONALLY SET OUT WHICH IS TEMPTING BUT THEY MUST BE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE POOR WORKERS WHO MUST BE PAID A PITTANCE TO MAKE THESE RAGS.
( I don't normally write in capitals, but this company has annoyed me)

SEW50 · 11/07/2019 13:42

Do not buy anything from this site, look at all the bad reviews on Trustpilot and save your money. They are a Chinese company with cheap products and won’t accept responsibility for their appalling clothes. You have to pay to send them back if you are unhappy and they don’t send all the items ordered.

GloucesterClare · 15/07/2019 19:51

Products not as advertised. Do not buy from this company!
Do not buy from this company!
I ordered three items that were described as linen/cotton or cotton and the items that arrived bore no resemblance to the pictures on their website and were all polycotton!
Not only were they not in the material described, they were also not the size described. In each case the actual maximum width of the garment was at least 5 cm smaller than the size it was meant to fit. In one case it was nearly 20 cm too small!
They advertise easy hassle free exchanges. This is not true. You have to send the items tracked and signed for back to China at your own expense and pay the customs.
In my case, they did not supply what I ordered and after going backwards and forwards with46 emails, they still refuse to pay my return postage and just offer a 25% discount- somehow they seem to think this will magically change what the items are made of and make them bigger.
Be warned!

Amblemum · 16/07/2019 08:19

I loved the look of the tops and made the mistake of ordering - took 6weeks to get half the order and items badly made - when asked for money back and return address they stopped answering my emails - luckily used PayPal who investigated and got money back

amispeakingenglish · 26/11/2019 01:04

There are several of these sites that pop up when I am listing on ebay, I know all about China so would never order. What I would like to know is where they are getting the pics from as love the clothes and shoes and would buy from the real retailer!! Anyone know?

susankirstysharman069 · 27/11/2019 09:58

absolutely do not use this company ! the advertised products are not what you will receive. What you get is a very poor and cheap imitation. the are sent from China and take weeks and weeks to arrive. You have to pay to return your goods to China if you are not happy. View them on trust pilot, they have a 99% dissatisfied customer base. Leave a product review on their website and it won't be published. I have logged a claim on paypal.

susankirstysharman069 · 27/11/2019 10:02

to amispeakingenglish, I have tried to find out where they are stealing the images from, on one of the photos on the website for the bags that I purchased ( 'vintage bag' ) there is clearly writing from the original company on the picture, which they have edited it out. The product I had the misfortune to purchase, clearly on the website photo was a good quality felt like material and what I got was cheap shiny cheap imitation.

amispeakingenglish · 27/11/2019 13:32

susankirstysharman069

I have a friend who has worked in fashion with Chinese factories for years. Brands like Ted Baker, to Tesco and they are the best at copying stuff. I have bought bags for my daughters that you can't tell apart from the real Gucci, but they are from a shop in China visited by my friend and still cost £50 - £60. Most of everything we buy from garden furniture to clothes to umbrellas is made in China or a bit in the cheaper Myanmar. These sites selling poor quality rip offs are awful, especially the ones scamming young girls with prom dresses. But the images are great aren't they but I expect prices to match!!

Suzypoo2 · 01/12/2019 10:59

I have ordered from this company, delivery was approx 10 days. I thought the quality and sizing was great.
Not had to send anything back yet so cannot comment on this.

Annicle · 03/12/2019 22:33

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FROM THIS OR ANY OTHER SITE SELLING THE SAME CLOTHES. I have just received what I thought would be a stunning piece of clothing and it's the biggest load of rubbish I've ever set eyes on. It cost £28. It's worth 50p.
I bought a teddy bear coat at the same time it hasn't arrived yet, I'm not holding my breath. The pictures they show are nothing like the item you get. Buyer beware, the worst thing is I know I won't get my money back. You live and learn.

BigGirl50 · 06/12/2019 18:48

The items being advertised on the Damensein website really look good and unusual. So, in October I ordered 3 items. A pair of earrings, a bracelet and a knitted top. After about 20 days I received a small package. I was expecting to receive all 3 items and I thought it was strange to get just the earrings on its own. Two weeks later the bracelet arrived, but I never received the top. I sent an email to customer services and they replied the next day saying that the top I ordered was a popular item and that demand was high and asked me to wait a while longer. But at that stage I didn’t see the point in waiting any longer. It seemed to me that the top hadn’t even been shipped yet, and I didn’t want to wait another month, so I asked for a full refund if the top wasn’t going to arrive before Christmas. After a few emails communicating with customer services, I was pleased to receive a full refund for just the top. However, I will not be ordering from this website again. I didn’t like the length of time it took for items to arrive. Also, I didn’t like the items arriving separately and weeks apart.

luna2luna · 07/12/2019 15:27

I have been buying stuff from Damensein; they are very unsatisfactory. The clothes I have received are poor I quality and they have charged me a lot for stuff I have not received.

Its terrible tryig to return stuff; they want to know a lot of information before they will email you a return slip.

does this company not have computers; they should have a record of purchases. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

Onesnowballshort · 07/12/2019 15:29

This is very timely as I have a basket full on their webpage of gloves and earrings, don't think I will bother now!

Twinkleboat · 11/12/2019 04:01

Damensien is a total scam.

I bought some stuff - terrible quality - tried to send it back and they offered to just give me 15%.

Website says its easy to send things back. IT IS NOT. Have to return to China - pay tax.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Paul12345678910 · 14/12/2019 12:43

Do not buy from this company unless you want to be ripped off because it will happen.
The site is one big lie, so don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website because you definitely don’t get what you see.
Dodgy dodgy dodgy, I can think of other words but review wouldn’t get posted.
Steer clear you have been warned

MIndthemum · 20/12/2019 07:37

DAMENSEIN IS A CHINESE SCAM! uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.damensein.com

Bonkersblond · 22/12/2019 07:34

So glad I sought reviews on Damensein that keep popping up on my FB, have just emptied my basket, thought the prices were too good to be true, shame because I love the look of some of the trousers.
