Vol85 was far too slow and hopefully a shiny new thread will get us all excited again.

Lots has been going on with lots of stress for many of us but our love of fashion and friendship keeps us here.

That's a lovely bag Lib
I just bought myself a t-shirt Grin

So who remembers Boots 17 Twilight Teaser lipstick?
There was shiny pale pink one too (the name escapes me). I LOVED that lipstick. Well, when Lib and I were in Space NK Kevyn Aucoin does these amazing lip glosses that totally reminded me of that colour. Molten Gems liquid lipstick. I will totally end up buying one. I'm such a kid.

MarshaBradyo · 08/08/2019 19:10

Ha love the t Shop good one I could do with that

Lib that’s an ace bag can see you with it

MarshaBradyo · 09/08/2019 19:10

Does anyone have an idea of what they’d like for AW? (Too early? Just saw a thread)

I’m still looking for a new scarf, maybe blush still
A new jumper

MarshaBradyo · 09/08/2019 19:10

Oh and the AW lunch dress but that goes with saying.. or even buying it seems Hmm yet to find one

MarshaBradyo · 09/08/2019 19:11

Without

shopafrolic · 09/08/2019 22:18

Hey Marsha I know I want to find a replacement chunky black knit for my Vince one. High / roll neck to wear with leather skinnies.
And some replacement cashmere. Otherwise pretty much sorted I think. Although maybe boots.....?

MarshaBradyo · 09/08/2019 22:52

Hey Shop did you see the cashmere on the outnet? I liked some but wrong colours for me - red, hot pink

MarshaBradyo · 09/08/2019 22:53

Laughing at both saying hey but really so quiet what else can you do

shopafrolic · 09/08/2019 23:50

Will have a look - musn’t really shop now till Sept (unless I spy goodies in France).

libertyonhertravels · 10/08/2019 01:23

Think I will get the bag. Wondering if any reductions are available???

I'm up for AW chat. It's very cold and wet here ATM. Snow expected today too. I'm wearing a very dark boxy cut winter green merino jumper which has been my best buy this winter.

At the MU I was telling some of you I am taking part in a clinical trial on high intensity exercise. I'm really starting to see the difference in my shape which is great. Legs, bum, arms and shoulders all looking firmer! I'm trying to motivate myself to eat a bit better and see if I can shift some lbs off my tummy. The trial ends in 3 weeks so I'm looking into options for classes to keep going with as I don't think I'll be disciplined enough to do it by myself.

libertyonhertravels · 10/08/2019 01:24

I love that t-shirt shop!

BerniceBobsHerHair · 10/08/2019 06:47

Hey hey hey Grin
It feels really autumnal here too now.
I've gone a bit mad in the sales including knitwear and jackets so am fairly sorted for AW. Sure something I 'need' will pop up though!
lib - good choice! I haven't ever seen it discounted but you could go through quidco if you buy from the coach site.
Enjoy your holiday shop sounds just like what you need.

Themarvellousmrsm · 10/08/2019 08:03

Bernice you're very organised for A/W; I don't feel that I had what I needed for summer this year so not looked at any winter items properly but have seen some great bargains. Brand Alley had some lovely C&P knitwear.

Yes, buy the bag Lib - great style and size and you deserve it for all the hard work you've been doing career and exercise wise (is that enabling enough? Grin)The trial sounds like hard work but so worth it.

The Coach Edie I linked the other day is due to be delivered on Monday-I'm really excited which dh doesn't get but I know you all will!

In fact, I have a question, what type of clothing/accessories do you get really excited about purchasing? Obviously I love a new item of clothing but get really happy when I buy bag. What's yours?

kittyhello · 10/08/2019 12:51

Shoes - I love shoes and can't resist a pair if they're on sale. I have 4 pairs of leopard shoes and 2 pairs of snake print ones Grin I hate boring, plain black shoes/ boots, although I do own some. I use shoes to liven up a dull, sludgy/ all black winter outfit. They're my 'pop of colour' that I won't do with clothes.

Themarvellousmrsm · 10/08/2019 19:21

You do great shoe Kitty! Bags are my 'colour', also scarves which may be a bit dated but don't seem to be able to give them up!

We're stuck into diy this weekend and have just finished for the day so am wearing mostly paint. Dh is collecting takeaway and I'm opening Wine

MarshaBradyo · 10/08/2019 20:18

I love a new knit but I don’t love them when they get old

shopafrolic · 10/08/2019 20:50

Me too Marsha
Love knits and boots. Any ankle boot. Flat or stiletto spike gets me v excited
And fresh new knitwear. Mine is all looking a bit lacklustre.

libertyonhertravels · 11/08/2019 02:12

Love a new bag and new boots make me very happy too. And I also love new pyjamas Smile.

Themarvellousmrsm · 11/08/2019 08:20

Great replies. What about a lipstick? Much like a new bag, I can't wait to wear a new lipstick.

Going back to A/W I need a lightweight waterproof jacket, well, Kagool. My seasalt Janelle is far too heavyweight for spring/autumn showers. I definitely don't want to spend much on this though.

Also need a new winter hat. I bought a cloche type one last winter but didn't like it much- thought it made me look like a little old lady 🤣. I love my bobble hats but after one a bit smarter too. Any ideas welcome.

MarshaBradyo · 11/08/2019 17:07

Winter hats are hard! How about a beret type for you MrsM?

I don’t really do lipstick and haven’t bought a new one for years Shock

libertyonhertravels · 11/08/2019 19:59

For winter hats I have a cable knit beanie with a huge fake fur bobble, a beret and a wool fedora. Love the fedora but can only wear on cold days with no wind or rain (so once so far this winter Grin)

Themarvellousmrsm · 11/08/2019 20:44

I had a turquoise fedora a few years ago but yes, every time the wind blew, the hat flew off!

I might try a beret but never sure about this style. Need to wait a couple of months then there will be lots of hats to choose from.

Oh Lib just realised its tomorrow for you! Have a good Monday Smile

libertyonhertravels · 12/08/2019 09:19

Thanks marvelous. Monday evening here now! Hope you all have a good Monday morning.

libertyonhertravels · 15/08/2019 11:35

And now it's Thursday Grin

Is everyone on holidays? I'm just back from a lovely meal out, was a work dinner but good conversation and excellent wine!

Shop I wore the brick red Chloe pea coat. It's still going strong! It must be 6 years since I bought it off you when we did our big autumn / winter swop session.

I've had a good week at work. Some long standing issues have started to get sorted which has given me a boost.

VivaVegas · 16/08/2019 14:16

Back from holiday, really glad I went, had a lovely time!
What is going on with the weather now though, very wet and rainy here today.
Did a Hush sake order, very bright but I love it and looks good with dark indigo skinnies and navy converse high tops yellow sweatshirt also got this striped jumper which I ordered on a whim but really like and this which will be useful for work and with jeans, shirts etc black top.
Also got a new blazer .
