No Shop you didn't kill the thread, I got stuck down a Justine Leconte rabbit hole & just when I though it was safe to come back up, fell down a Janelle Monáe one! Both v interesting & JM is fascinating.

While on Regent St I picked up this workhorse wearing it today. Not exciting, but a great price for a versatile wardrobe basic. Great shape for me.

I’m sat in a local pub that has been done up to be a gastro / fancy restaurant type place. I met my best friend here decades ago when we were both dancing on a pool table. It’s changed a bit! Wearing the Me&em cross over back dress. I’ve already been stopped twice to ask where it is from so that’s a good sign.

So funny, I bought that dress Dry and hated it (it was so boxy without the belt and didn't fit me right). Not often we disagree on dresses! It is lovely though, it's a shame it didn't work for me. Bet it looks great on you.

I've ordered this Whistles dress after seeing someone on Insta looking fab in a short sleeve belted shirt dress. It's the perfect colour for me so fingers crossed an 8 fits.

Dry I think I expected it to be fitted and when it wasn't, I immediately wrote it off. Or maybe I was still in the awkward post pregnancy mindset - I did get it at the start of the season. I would always have belted it too!

I just searched back in my facebook messages with my sisters (every purchase gets discussed) and it seems I thought the fabric was a bit natural for me and there was a bit too much of the fabric. Interesting lol

Love the dress for Dry and your new one

I’m trying to wear less jeans, which I never feel good in, and more day dresses in this weather. The chambray dress I wore to the MU has done me well this week too. My mother, though, keeps saying “oh, you look posh”......not sure if this is a compliment though 🙄
