If it is a girl let's hope she doesn't grow up being relentlessly compared to Princess Charlotte by the media! Then again it's a decent-sized age gap between them so probably not.

Slipper and MotherofPearl - I loved that dress but think very few people could pull it off without looking frumpy. You need that tall slim silhouette. On me it would look like a bag!

BlingLoving · 30/04/2019 13:45

@queen - totally true re comparison. But I hope it is a girl so that Charlotte actually has someone close in age to her who will go through the same things (I've expressed my serious concerns about the misogny Charlotte will face before). Hopefully they'd be able to support each other as they got older.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/04/2019 14:05

Let's hope both (if baby Sussex is a girl) are made of stern stuff like their great-aunt!

MotherofPearl · 30/04/2019 14:12

Only just looked at the link @AhoyDelBoy but thanks for posting - very amusing! Love the many photos of Camilla with a glass of wine. Grin

GrumbleBumble · 30/04/2019 14:25

I wouldn't read too much into the alleged internet pages - I thought the baby was going to be Lord/Lady not Prince/ss.

iknowimcoming · 30/04/2019 14:25

Thought I'd lost you all! a source I have says that lady Rose whatever her name is (of alleged affair with William fame) is 'with child' Shock Grin

queenofarles · 30/04/2019 14:59

iknowimcomig come back here , Grin

AudacityOfHope · 30/04/2019 15:09

Well she has kids already doesn't she, so this is just another way to create drama where there may be none.

Mother decides to have another child - not much of a headline is it? Grin

shedid · 30/04/2019 15:12

@iknowimcoming no way! I hope not. There'll be no end of speculation if she is. How old are her other children?

queenofarles · 30/04/2019 15:20

Well , If she is with child, then I guess it proves nothing was going on in the first place?

queenofarles · 30/04/2019 15:32

shedid there is a big gap between the twins and her girl who is actually younger than Charlotte.

SlipperOrchid · 30/04/2019 15:51

William can’t possibly be that stupid surely.

There will be likeness comparisons for ever more!

I’d say the Cambridge’s can’t wait for the Sussex baby to arrive to take the heat off them.

AudacityOfHope · 30/04/2019 15:58

I think the implication is the exact opposite queen Grin

queenofarles · 30/04/2019 16:12

Whoever is making this up, must be a lover of historical romance novels. it’s just too much for us to wrap our heads around it. Confused it’s like a Mexican telenovela

AudacityOfHope · 30/04/2019 16:13

Not really!

Married man allegedly shags married woman. Married woman is allegedly pregnant.

That's pretty much it Grin

SunshineCake · 30/04/2019 16:30

So horrible to see the implication that William has behaved very badly and typing is very childish.

In Baby news she may be Allegra. Apparently lots of bets.

Butterymuffin · 30/04/2019 16:30

Didn't the Daily Mail 2016 'so much in common' story say that at that time her child was three months old? That's the one I would be speculating about. As for pregnancy right now, well, any rag can ''speculate" with no proof and only time proves them wrong. How many times has Jennifer Aniston been pregnant according to the tabloids?

queenofarles · 30/04/2019 16:40

I don’t buy this Rumor for so many reasons, and I said so on the other RF thread.
William doesn’t look stupid.
And Rose won’t jeopardize losing it all, for a fling.

ajandjjmum · 30/04/2019 16:46

Regardless of the facts, if she is pregnant the poor child will suffer a lifetime of James Hewitt/Harry and Porchy/Andrew rumours.

I too don't think William is stupid.

PinguDance · 30/04/2019 17:10

Ooh I like Allegra!
Heard my first really viscous, real life Meghan bashing at work today - very unpleasant. Reminded me that there are people who genuinely believe everything they read in the paper/ see a headline about without even reading the story and it made me really angry that the press have fabricated a load of shite with no evidence that has created so much antagonism towards MM. In this particular case it did just permit my colleague to say things that were heavily if not overtly racist without thinking twice. Made me extra defensive about MM! I feel she’s going to end up in a very tricky position and hope her marriage is worth it tbh.

Notmyrealname855 · 30/04/2019 17:45

I just get sad about rumours in all bits of the royal family :( Reminded me that there are people who genuinely believe everything they read in the paper/ see a headline about doesn’t this sound like W&K too? If I were them I’d just delete their Instagram and Twitter accounts and go back to court circulars, everyone’s too keen for sensationalism and in both cases there are innocent DC involved :( as well as (probably) innocent people - MM, KM and all the rest

Honestly I’m not so boring! I do love a scandal, but hate seeing kids hurt in shitty situations. Especially if none of it’s true and we get no gossip :)

Hate to be the bearer of DM news, but did anyone read their piece about the aristos bonking abroad? Hmm to the royals supposedly being gents!

hopeishere · 30/04/2019 17:48

I did wonder if Kate getting the award was a warning from the Queen to William - this woman is devoted and serving our family so don't fuck it up.

Gooseysgirl · 30/04/2019 18:36

I'm not a huge fan of KM but I do think she is trying her best, and if anything this award should have come sooner!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 30/04/2019 18:49

Not necessarily Royal news. But I saw my brother today, and he told me in passing that he’d been at Soho Farmhouse for the weekend!

He wasn’t impressed with it at all, said it was a theme park for Londoners wanting a sterile version of “the country”.
