I hope they call the baby Boy, James !

Haggismcbaggis · 06/05/2019 14:43

I got the weight spot on!!! Smile

yellowalstroemeria · 06/05/2019 14:43

Ahhhh a boy!

RaymondReddington · 06/05/2019 14:44

Yay! A boy!

I think Henry as a middle name

7lb 12

banivani · 06/05/2019 14:44

Wouldn't it be great if they went for a proper African-American name like Taneisha or something (disclaimer: am no good at those names, there's a knack to it but I don't have it). Really get the racists frothing then.

I love that red colour Maxima is wearing, very very nice and a gorgeous structure to the top as well!

RaymondReddington · 06/05/2019 14:45

They've said 7lb 3

SunshineCake · 06/05/2019 14:45

Baby is 7lb 3 and WILL NOT be called James Hmm.

yellowalstroemeria · 06/05/2019 14:48

Harry's video message is lovely. He looks knackered Grin

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 14:48

What's wrong with James? Were King Jameses wrong 'un? (I never paid attention in history...)

FFSeverynameisused · 06/05/2019 14:50

I think name options are:

Alexander (after Alexander Hamilton - they like the musical and its connections to America, Britain and also royal history)

Theodore (american connections and honouring her mom)

Frederick (royal and african american connections)

Spencer (honouring his mum, could definitely be in there somewhere)

TopBitchoftheWitches · 06/05/2019 14:50

I have a George, Louise and James, it is only right this baby is called James.

ajandjjmum · 06/05/2019 14:51

Where is Harry's video message?

SunshineCake · 06/05/2019 14:52

Won't be James due to stupid hard of thinking people who like to try and imply Hewitt is Harry's father Hmm.

AFifthOfKoolAid · 06/05/2019 14:53

Ah never thought of that, Sunshine. I do like the name a lot though.

Spencer would be good, always sounds like a handsome wheeler-dealer as a first name to me.

queenofarles · 06/05/2019 14:53

Oh congratulations! To both of them

Nogravyforyou · 06/05/2019 14:54

Where is the video message! He managed to make it to the end of this thread by the skin of his teeth 😂

Spudlet · 06/05/2019 14:55

Jolly good, well done everyone. Good work. Harry looked suitably chuffed and slightly overawed by what Meghan has just done, as is right and proper (DH still gets slightly fistpumpy when we talk about my labour, he was impressed at my pushing gusto). Excellent.

I also love Max's red dress - mind you I love pretty much all things Max. She looks so smiley at all times! Like she'd be a real hoot on an evening out.

Nanasueathome · 06/05/2019 14:55

It just seems odd to announce she was in labour round about 14:00 and then announce, within the hour, that the baby was born at 05:26 this morning

LoversLane · 06/05/2019 14:55

Where was he interviewed? Did she have the baby at home?

Paradyning · 06/05/2019 14:56

Oh Harry is so cute in his interview!

Thesearmsofmine · 06/05/2019 14:57

It was on BBC, I think it was unplanned for him to come out and talk because they had not log announced she was in labour.

JaneEyre07 · 06/05/2019 14:58

Aw he looked so happy. Always a relief to know baby arrived safely, no matter whose baby it is.

And he looked pretty good considering he'd been up all night Grin

BubblesBuddy · 06/05/2019 15:00

If the baby arrived around 5 am, he’s had time for a nap!!!

yellowalstroemeria · 06/05/2019 15:00

Here's Harry (I hope!)

SunshineCake · 06/05/2019 15:00

Nanasue.. I think to give them the privacy while also not keeping us all waiting too long.
