Beautiful Kimono @NotAnActualSheep so lovely! I think I'll get my mum one of the botanical ones for her holidays. She loves a good kimono. I was impressed that their 10% new customer offer worked on the sale stuff too. Love their scarves. Please post a few pics when they arrive!

NotAnActualSheep · 04/05/2019 21:51

Thanks huff! I'm such a fan of botanical prints... and the colours are lovely. Will definitely post photos as long as I don't look like a wafty potato. But annoyingly I missed the 10% off... Though I still got loads of stuff for less than the cost of the hush one...

Ellapaella · 04/05/2019 21:55

Ooh what is the 10% off code please?

Ellapaella · 04/05/2019 21:55

Love that one sheep

Huffthepuff · 04/05/2019 22:09

Oh that's annoying Not. They got me with it as I went to close the site after first peruse and it popped up. Said 10% off your first order, so I clicked, then it said I had to use in 30 minutes! So I had a countdown showing on the webpage and pressure to order quickly. Hence my prompt order. Well played marketing team, well played...
NEY95 was the code they gave me. Try it and see if it's a one off Ella. I had to play around to find the enter code bit as it wasn't clear where to put it in. I had to go back to my cart after starting the checkout. Free delivery over £60. Not sure what delivery cost is if you spend less

neveradullmoment99 · 04/05/2019 22:28

I spent less and I think it was £3.95 or something like that. It wasn't much. I really like that one not That was one of my choices too.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/05/2019 22:29

About the Hush kimono, its actually sold out in a 16 and low stock in an 8. Who is buying it???

NotAnActualSheep · 04/05/2019 22:52

Clever marketing indeed! To be honest, I could basically buy half of that site... the prints are sooooo gorgeous. Though basically, how many kimonos does one girl need? I'll see what the quality is like when it arrives.. The delft one is beautiful too.

Yes never- it does seem very popular, though no reviews as yet... Possibly there will be a flurry of returns. Though the aster one (which is truly lovely but £££) seems to have gone down really well.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/05/2019 22:59

I wrote a stinking review!!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/05/2019 22:59

The aster one is gorgeous but agree, way too pricey.

EachandEveryone · 05/05/2019 00:37

Oh my, those kimonos are screaming Glastonbury at me! I wonder how generous they are?

justilou1 · 05/05/2019 02:12

I’d be underwhelmed with those kimonos if they are not as described. They don’t even look like they have the weight to stay on. Nothing worse. I have awfully narrow shoulders and have given up on kimonos completely, even though I love them. They end up falling down and driving me nuts or falling back and having the tie around my neck, and it looks weird, like Celine Dion’s odd, reverse tuxedo look. Unfortunately the boho, floaty look doesn’t work for me. Have discovered a store here recently that I think is a little closer to Hush than any other. FINALLY. (Am wondering how many ideas are “borrowed”...) AND I have found their outlet store, which is even better, as their basics don’t change too much - T-shirt’s, etc. Clothes are pretty expensive here, but this is mid-range.
The store is www.decjuba.com.au
What do you think? (I have recently spent a fortune. DH has no idea.)

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 07:37

justlou some nice stuff on that site this looks a good sale bargain in the khaki and the pink as a Hush wide top dupe. What is the quality /sizing like? And they ship here too! But ££

DH retirement feels like he's on holiday ATM ...

Huffthepuff · 05/05/2019 08:19

@Laska2Meryls there's a size 10 in the green wren on the website if you were still wanting both colours?

justilou1 · 05/05/2019 08:30

I have the dolman sleeve ones in the blush pink and khaki. Am eyeing off the oatmeal. They are SOOOOOO soft!!! (And available at the outlet for better prices than the sale. I think the outlet is used as a lab test.) Today I bought this guy, which I dithered about last year and it sold out. www.decjuba.com.au/products/maison-beaded-long-sleeve-tee-brightwht?variant=15084955074669 They didn’t have many, and they only had smalls. I paid $15.00. Happy days! Bought a couple of tees as well. Can see this one getting a lot of wear between seasons here. It was $20. www.decjuba.com.au/products/un-deux-trois-tee-
Even DD 12 approves!

justilou1 · 05/05/2019 08:32

@laska - I will go in this week and check that one out. Some are better than others. Will take photos for you. With the exchange rate, you can probably buy millions.

Huffthepuff · 05/05/2019 09:17

Love the tiger top @justilou1 !

LibbyJeffries · 05/05/2019 09:33

Hi, I'm about to spend £100 on Hush at brand alley as a first time buyer. There's a refer a friend option - anyone want to refer me? I'm not sure what you get out of it but could be worth it?

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 09:51

Hi @Libby only catching up with thread now so may be a little late, I’ll pm you soon with BA code

SoyYo · 05/05/2019 10:02

I’ve just sent you pm with recommend me voucher link @Libby do come back and tell us what you think of your Hush purchases

Back to the thread.
@not love the botanical kimono and toast trainers 👍hope you get down time sounds like work really has been crazy to for you so you did deserve a few treats

@huff and @never ditto!
@huff I do like the blue jacket in your pic, lovely fit and agree you need an 8 in the wren
@laska looking fab in your new jacket which totally suits the Janelle dress. I’m tempted...

Not a lot to report. Yesterday was cold and so windy we cut our walk short. Today the sun is shining but still a very cold day, at least the wind seems to have calmed down. Feeling relaxed.

@justi love the tiger t shirt Smile

Laska2Meryls · 05/05/2019 10:29

Huff Bum missed it!
Are you keeping yours now?

Ellapaella · 05/05/2019 10:37

Love that site @justilou1 but just looking at the size guide and it seems a M/L is only 12-14 it seems there are only two sizing options. What is the sizing like? True to size? Am loving some of that knitwear but would have to order quite a lot to make shipping worth while.

Ellapaella · 05/05/2019 10:42

Cold here too @SoyYo. Heating is back on - no point trying to be stylish today, I'm back in my winter jumpers! Finding myself browsing knitwear again so must be cold!
Current mission is finding a stylish bit warm and cozy jumper/sweater for our camping trips - when the weather eventually gets milder over next few weeks we will be taking them van out at weekends again and evenings are always so chilly.
I have an amazing hoodie from Mountain Warehouse which is the warmest thing I've ever found but is absolutely not stylish - not one little bit! Maybe when camping comfort has to trump style. But I've been looking at this https://www.superdry.com/womens/knitwear/details/86432/pia-nep-cable-cape-sweater-grey

Huffthepuff · 05/05/2019 10:54

Not sure @Laska2Meryls . I'm loathed to unpack it now as I'll wreck the box even further and I want to send back the stripy dress from last week too. I was holding out for an 8 so I can compare the two before I decide. Looking at the online photos again the model does wear it oversized. She's got the sleeves turned up and the shoulders are wide on her. But on her it looks slouchy and cool 🤔

@Ella, I find the sizing pretty generous, tbh... I think in Australia if they are not catering to 13 year olds, they tend to flatter the ladies with sizing. I tend to wear s or even xs, and I am an 8 on top and an 8-10 on the bottom. I am very short, so am well padded.
