It was only 299 at Boots (discounted from 575!)

Here! Now it’s the old style, which plugs in. However, it’s the batteries that fail over time so I was more than happy to replace my newer style with this one last year.

Fazackerley · 24/01/2019 10:52

Thanks, that looked brilliant but I am not a costco member! Just trying to work out if its cheaper to get that and join as well or buy from somewhere else!!

I had that one from Costco for Christmas - I think even with paying the extra £15 to buy it from the website it works out as a really good bargain. My legs are almost hair free after only 2 uses! It's a bloody miracle!

TheFaerieQueene · 24/01/2019 11:07

Amazon often have them on offer.

DeflatedBalloons · 24/01/2019 11:08

looks like its back in stock on boots website now?
I bought mine for £249 on black Friday from Amazon, John lewis also did the same deal a few days later.

Is it this one? It looks like it's in stock.
I've ummed & aaahed about getting one for ages!

Bosscastle · 24/01/2019 11:11

Is the Lumea better than the NoNo?
I was thinking of getting one as waxing is a pain.

Pringlemunchers · 24/01/2019 11:12

Amazon have them. Topcash back were doing 6% with boots I think.

Pringlemunchers · 24/01/2019 11:13

ladyratterley what is your opinion, is it worth it ?

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 24/01/2019 11:13

@Bosscastle the NoNo just trims the hair as I believe. The Lumea uses intense pulsed light to kill off the hair follicles.

O4FS · 24/01/2019 11:14

I really want one, but it’s a lot of money if it doesn’t work.

I just don’t know!

Just had a look & they have the same model as the one in Boots on All Beauty for £259.99 if you wanted the BRI956/00.

DeflatedBalloons · 24/01/2019 11:17

I've done 4 treatments so far (you have to do them fortnightly) and the hair on my bikini line and stomach is growing back patchy. I haven't noticed a difference in my underarms, legs or chin. Will continue to do all 6 treatments but there is a 100 day money back guarantee so if it doesn't improve i'll send it back for a refund.

Bosscastle · 24/01/2019 11:19

Grrrr can't use it anyway thanks to varicose veins, just checked now Sad

DaanSaaf · 24/01/2019 11:20

I've had one for a few years, it's life changing.

ladyratterley · 24/01/2019 11:34

I’ve not got one yet! Just keep thinking about it Pringle.

LuluBellaBlue · 24/01/2019 11:41

Plavemarking to see what others feedback is on them....

O4FS · 24/01/2019 11:58

The reviews are pretty good. I’m nearly converted, especially with the 100 day guarantee.

Intothedenofvipers · 24/01/2019 12:42

I got mine 3 years ago. I have very pale skin, dark hair. Lovely strong thick leg hair! I have the ideal colouring for it to work.

I used it every 2 weeks for about 6 months and now do it every month to top up.

I no longer need to shave at all, not had a bikini wax since I started using. Those lovely single chin hairs all gone.

When I go on holiday I take a razor for the odd stray hair I might notice, but I can go a couple of weeks and not need to use it. Before I would have a wax a day before holiday, have slight red marks from that and within 7 days hair regrowth. It has been life changing!

O4FS · 24/01/2019 12:48

That’s good to know.

Does it just do ‘bikini’ or can it zap the whole area for a Brazilian? Would it hurt?

Intothedenofvipers · 24/01/2019 12:50

You can do as much as you like, but it can sting.
Imagine some one pinging an elastic band at you, hard! Smarts but not painful.

ladyratterley · 24/01/2019 13:05

Oh you're really tempting me Intothedenofvipers! I'm pale with dark hair.

Pringlemunchers · 24/01/2019 17:03

I really really want one. It is just such an expensive purchase...... But I have been justifying to myself by thinking ,I would not have to spend a fortune on razors ,wax etc.

Fazackerley · 24/01/2019 18:16

I had one years ago then sold it on ebay when I was broke.

They do work!

Thank you ladyratterley it's deffo out of stock at boots.

Will investigate the other links.

My chin is really bad Sad I did book a laser treatment at a salon but the girl doing it asked me twice what my husband thought about my chin hair. I'm quite robust but it made me feel awful so I don't want to go back!!
