Dream I have 2 that are XS and one that is an 8.
When I bought them I would say I was more if a 10-12. Ironically I am now an 8 and they are very big. They are meant to be a bit oversized I think.

I took black cabs to hospital and Dr with dd cost me over £100 each time . We saw the consultant last week and she doesn’t have to go back for a year which is great news

The trainer is the perfect green, love the sides and back and I figure I’m the person who sees the suede part most and I’ll just block it out. Hopefully she’ll do the same next year without that bit

Hey Lib we are taking him to an elderly care specialist at the hospital on Tuesday who will review all his meds. His bladder infection seems to be worsening and he is terribly confused. He keeps calling me saying he is lost in a hotel in North Wales and that I need to drive to find him :(

In all seriousness, it has made me think about my style and in particular why I find summer dressing so tricky. I love skinny jeans, a band tee, cuffs, chunky jewellery and stilettos. I am the queen of never really being arsed to dress up and would wear default rock chick outfits to a corporate ball if I could.
This year I am on a girl’s trip to Marbella in less than 7 weeks.i have no idea what to wear. Last year I was too ‘classy’. Maxi dresses were no good for dancing and cocktails. The best outfit by far was the Zara black shorts that Blair found me with the black Whistles shell top that Queen found me and my espadrilles. I don’t do florals or loads of prints. I need two more outfits for this trip. Any inspiration gratefully received.

for Shop it sounds like you're having a very difficult time. I hope the consultant can adjust DF tablets. The hospital consultant has tweaked mrdreams long term tablets that hes been taking for years (under the pain clinic) he's feeling ok but it's hard to tell whether the reduced dose will work day to day when he's finally moving about normally. Thank you all again for such kind thoughts.

I'm holding back on ordering the Lola dress until a few lbs are dropped. My middle seems to have exploded even more since the stroke incident. I've bought a few cheap but lovely dresses from Matalan that Isaw on insta (40 plus not giving up)which will get me through warm weather until I hopefully drop some weight.

Great news about DD Marsha I agree the scarft is too sugar colouring (does that even make sense?)

shop I would just go with similar top and shorts if that’s what you were comfortable in. Or wear the shorts with a different top. Or how about a play suit? Good news about getting elderly care involved. Balancing benefits/side effects of meds is always tricky.

Interesting article. I’d say I dress better now that 10 years ago when I was in tne baby years as I never felt I got that right. I probably dress younger now than I did 20 years ago as then i was more dressy wearing skirts/heels/trousers on nights out although that was the fashion then. You didn’t really go out in jeans/trainers like you do now.

I’ve realised that I pretty much live in my cycling gear on work days and go to collect from after school club in it I’ve bought some new tops. Not exactly exciting but I will feel more ‘polished’ if that indeed is possible in cycling stuff!

I was in London yesterday and as always loved the people watching. Loads of women in animal print maxi dresses and white trainers with denim or black leather jacket. Also loose striped trousers which I quite fancy a pair although I worry they’ll look like pyjamas on me!

The Whistles dress is sized generously but is meant to be loose fitting.

Can you take your jumpsuit to wear in the evening Shop? Agree with Dry, take a different top to wear with the shorts as they were such a hit last year, wear also with different shoes. Do you have any summer wide legged trousers? Wear with silk vest top tucked in and flats.

Dream the good thing about the loose cut of the dress is that they are very forgiving!

I ordered this today and a maxi skirt which i’ll link if I keep it.
I’ve gone through all the clothes I wore on last year’s girls trip and what worked and what didn’t. Will save it until the new thread though as can’t face posting it on a winter edition.
