Back down to earth after a couple of wonderful days in sunny London getting a fashion fix. Dior at the V and A is amazing.....keep drooling over the catalogue. Totally my sort of clothes (if I had ££££ and the lifestyle )

Mara I tried on a couple of pairs of veja's then asked the same question-Shop said they were her most uncomfortable pair of trainers! I got stans again.

I dug out my summer clothes last night ready for packing why did I leave it this late? and realised I need T shirts, tops and at least one dress and no time to go shopping or get a delivery. So would you just pack what you have or go to local retail park so next, M&S etc and make do?

I think if you have time go to retail park and have a look round, but try to be picky and not buy things unless you think you would have anyway? I always take more on holiday than I end up needing so it's likely you'd be fine anyway.

I asked the same q re veja trainers too and shop said they were really uncomfortable. I'm still on the lookout for trainers ....I'm thinking of going down the chunky trainer I have my eye on some and am hoping to find time to try some on Saturday. The potential for looking like a middle aged fashion victim is high.

I have had a stinking cold since Sunday, that's been getting worse every day since. Really hoping tomorrow is the day I feel better! I shouldn't still be contagious, at least. I managed to go into work all week I think being at home would have been less restful.

I don't think I've seen anyone wearing chunky trainers in real life... am sure I will tomorrow though. It's interesting how different fashions are outside of cities. Here everyone wears Sweaty Betty leggings!

Blair edgy isn’t really the look in my neighbourhood either, more low key chic eg Gucci loafers/veja/stans, skinnies, trench and goyard St. Louis tote. If you go a bit further west it gets more euro bling. Have seen the balenciaga triple s trainers irl and they did look cool but not a look I can do or want to do.

stokey air and grace seem to be one of those brands that were gifted to insta people a lot. I think styleguile had some amongst others. I really like them but wouldn’t pay that for them

I'm afraid I may end up being a no-show. We had a meeting with the builder this morning and he wants to start in two weeks. They are also going to knock the kitchen down straight away. So basically we now have two weekends to empty garage, utility room, kitchen & dining room ready for the build. & Dds have play rehearsals tomorrow afternoon so I really think I need to be there to take them so DH can get on with the hard graft.

Small chance I may be able to come later but wouldn't be before 4.30-5 realistically which could be a bit late.

My heart is telling me to come but head is saying I'm needed here.
