I'm calling it! You know the rules, wear a different lipstick every day this month. (I love this and look forward to it every year.) Has it been a year already? I've been buying make-up (again) and have some lippies I need to get through! I'm not wearing anything at the moment, that will change come morning though.

Wasn't too impressed with how the Rimmel stayed put so changed to an old favourite. No 7 lip crayon in Blackberry Wine

Feels nice but doesn’t last quite as well as Maybelline so not good enough for price! Sexy colour though.

And how cool is this? I don’t take many selfies but I love this collage!

I really love that Pinkie, I think you suit the wine red shades and the purples.

Last day is cien in gentle mauve. Lidl’s lipstick range. Really comfortable formula but really random if it’s in stock!

It’s been a great thread, have loved seeing all your colours. I think I’ve worn lipstick everyday except one or two when I haven’t left the house. So that is good for me. I’ve acquired 6 new lipsticks too, and have some inspiration for more. Will definitely keep up the lipstick habit and join in the thread next year.

Today is a repeat but I wanted to post something for the last day. My new favourite, Mac captive, applied as a slight stain over lip balm today to try to save my lips from the worst of the cold! It looks a bit bolder in real life.

Also slightly off track but overall this January I’ve enjoyed taking a bit more care of my appearance which I think is linked to this thread so thank you all . Have done my hair every day instead of resorting to a scruffy ponytail and also done regular home manicures. Feel much better for it!

I've not participated much in the line of photos but I love this thread. So many gorgeous lipsticks. I've bought quite a few cheap ones this month as it's really got me thinking about other shades and finishes.

Another, how do you take such great selfies of your lips- mine look blurred and distorted so close up? I look like I have fish-lips!!!

Here’s my best effort- this lipstick is Wildberry (no 33) from Elizabeth Arden. I am actually loving it- it’s very creamy but does last - which for me is the ultimate goal as I’m not a matte fan!

This is the last one! I wore Revlon Superstar Brown and Red Rules The World today, So Lit! finally arrived from the USA today, and I'm getting my I 🖤 Revolution metallic liquid lipsticks in the post tomorrow. (I had to get them, I got a free goody bag!) This month I have bought 24 lipsticks, nine liquid lipsticks, eight lipglosses, four eyeshadow palettes and four cream eyeshadows.

Oh for goodness sake! I just found all 12 of the Revlon Matte Is Everything lipstick shades on the Superdrug website, and it's two for £10! That would have saved me some cash. The universe is conspiring against me. Oh well, at least I've got them all now!

Thanks Lotta! There's wasn't much in my goody bag, a highlighter palette, liquid lip kit and an eyeshadow brush I already had, and an eyeshadow palette I didn't. Oh well, the eyeshadow palette was worth it as an extra when I was going to buy those things anyway.

Today was Revlon So Lit!, a bright matte orange (as though I don't have enough of those already) and Mystic Mist, which is a very pale sheer purple lipgloss with lots of iridescent shimmer and green iridescence where it catches the light. It makes me think of summer for some reason! It would look lovely on a sunny day, I'm sure.

And hopefully I'll be able to start wearing liquid lipsticks again soon, my lips have been so dry and flaky recently I haven't been able to, and I've got lots of new pretty ones I want to try.

Ooh, that's lovely! I own it, although I haven't tried it on yet. (I will get around to it now my lips feel better, Revolution's liquid lipsticks are one of the better formulas I've tried. ) They do a dark green matte one I love!

Also got a Sleek one to try, a lip liner, a new foundation and some paw paw cream (which will deal with the dry skin on my eyelids that I get in the cold) for just over £30
