Lipstick Challenge January 2019.

I'm calling it! You know the rules, wear a different lipstick every day this month. (I love this and look forward to it every year.) Has it been a year already? I've been buying make-up (again) and have some lippies I need to get through! I'm not wearing anything at the moment, that will change come morning though.

Maybelline matt in divine wine - which seemed appropriate for a Friday!
first time wearing this one and it looks really dark in the bullet but is lasting well - pic taken after lunch in the office

Oh. I'll post a picture of my haul when it all gets here (at least the stuff from the UK anyway. The two lippies I got from the US won't be here till the 29th, but that beats waiting three months!)

Today I wore Nyx cosmic metal lip cream in Asteroid Aura, A very pretty purple colour.

No7 Stay Perfect in Blushing Tulip today. I love it. Makes my eyes look really blue and makes my skin glow. And it's a very comfortable matte. Love it

So much for going to Oxford! I was going to visit my family and had to be up at 5am, but didn't get up till roughly 8:15am! Phoned my mum feeling silly and a bit upset and she told me not to worry, she'll see me when I go down in February.

Anyway, my Amazon order came today, my Boots order is ready for me to pick up and my Superdrug order will be here on Monday.

And today I wore Revlon Dark Night Queen. This is basically a darker matte version of Revlon Black Cherry. It's a dark reddish, brownish purple, and a bit uneven. But that may be the state of my lips not helping matters.

Thanks for the Maybelline Matte ink Lover recommendation & photos. Absolutely love it -got it yesterday.
Anyone got any other colours in the Matte Ink range?
Quite like the look of dreamer but Boots & Superdrug didn't have that one.

Love them! Am thinking of ways to get back into town to pick up more and then pass on/bin my other liquid lipsticks that aren’t as good.
Love the sound of dark night queen Sapphire.
I’m wearing Glossier lip stain in jam. Not sure really. Great colour but pretty dry. I fell for the glossier sales pitch. Boy brow is amazing and have rebought 3 times. Concealer is not right for my starting-to-line skin so must try to avoid hype!

This is Revlon matt balm in Striking. It's a bit more orange than I was anticipating and you have to put quite a bit on to get a deep colour but it feels nice on.

In other news, I just discovered the maybelline matte ink in Pioneer that I already own, so now I have 2 😆

I’m also in Maybelline matte ink in heroine. It’s a bit more drying than the others but still really fancy and generated a few positive comments from people!

Ooh, pretty lipsticks everyone!

Today I wore Revlon Femme Future Pink, just a nice bright pink, I'm going to compare it to Revlon Sultry Samba and see if they're similar.

Got my Superdrug order today, sans two of the lipsticks I bought (out of stock apparently, but they were there when I paid!) I'll see if I get my full refund this time, if not I'm kicking up a stink. (The last time this happened with Superdrug I bought something that cost £1.50 and only got £1 back, and despite emailing them didn't hear anything back. Paid via PayPal, so if I have to I'll go through them, though last time I raised a dispute they refunded me all the money although I just want a refund for the things I hadn't got! It was £30 instead of £6!) Anyway, Amazon US has got that shade and I'll wait for the refund to go through before I order it from there, unless Superdrug get it back in stock any time soon.

Essence have brought out a winter collection (last years for uk) called Winter Dreamin. I've bought the pink lipstick. Looks lovely on, very sheer with a hint of coral and shimmer. I live the packaging and might go back for the berry one too, which is a sheer browny berry with a slight shimmer!
