Going to a wedding in 3 weeks - I've had two unsuccessful shopping trips, trying stuff on and it's all been wrong wrong wrong.

I want something sleeveless as it'll be hot, i want something quite classic looking - that comes in at the waist - and is knee length or longer. Can't go over £80.

Anyone got any good links?

Please?

Size? Colouring? (Not that I'll be any help but the gurus will want to know )

Size 10.

Open to most colours, i'm quite pale, blonde hair - red makes me look a bit peculiar, beige makes me look invisible. Like greens and pinks.

chck out monsoon, some lovely dresses
cut quite generous, so you'ld prob need a 6 or 8

Tutter · 18/06/2007 19:30

bottom right

VeryHungryCattypilla · 18/06/2007 19:31

this

how about this dress?

snowleopard · 18/06/2007 19:31

I got a lovely pinkish/dark red sleeveless silk dress, knee-length, fitted at waist, with lighter pink border at the hem, from jigsaw for a wedding recently and I lurve it (and got lots of compliments). Was £89 but might appear in the sale... there's also a grey/green version 9though that's not so weddingy). Annoyingly I can't find it on their website, will keep looking.

FrannyandZooey · 18/06/2007 19:33

God Tutter's one is bloody gorgeous, the green one yes?

FrannyandZooey · 18/06/2007 19:33

Tutter · 18/06/2007 19:33

Tutter · 18/06/2007 19:34

FrannyandZooey · 18/06/2007 19:36

I know you said £80 but....

VeryHungryCattypilla · 18/06/2007 19:36

i like this but may not be dressy enough

FrannyandZooey · 18/06/2007 19:42

I am waiting for Boco's reaction to these before I continue my role as her webtrawling bitch

Boco · 18/06/2007 20:10

Sorry - thanks - was putting children to bed, and trying to persuade them to stay there...

Love both the monsoon dresses

Like the phase 8 one but wrong shade of green for me, fine line between good and washed out when it comes to me and green..

Franny yours is nice, but would feel a bit like an easter egg - what a huge bow!

Actually Monsoon is almost always the right place for these things but you must go and try them on

ahundredtimes · 18/06/2007 21:03
