My lashes are brittle and sparse. What to do .....?

I bought the duo for my DD (QVC) she used it about 9 months ago , her eyelashes were amazing (they are good without but fantastic with) .

I'd bought the lash+brow in the New Year and my brows did improve but not something that concerns me enough to upkeep ( I use Revolution 3 Day Dye from Superdrug)

I've been waiting for a good offer that didn't include the brow , the primer (its 'ok' but its basically a blue mascara base) or the curlers (which are shit)

Mumsnut · 12/11/2018 12:11

H'mmm. I think I can see a difference, but is it just down to the normal growing cycle? It's been three weeks.

I should explain that my lashes, though far from spectacular, are not normally as bad as they were three weeks ago. I'd had repeated extensions though, so they'd become broken, sparse, and weirdly fine.

So some natural improvement is to be expected as time goes by. I'm looking forward to seeing them become better than their 'normal' state though

Nanolash definitely works! Yesterday while wearing mascara the lashes hit the glass!

princesstiasmum · 13/11/2018 13:37

Just looked at the leaflet from my eyedrops, and it says could cause a double row of lashes,or lengthening of lashes,Grin
Still waiting lol , i have not noticed anything yet

professionalnomad · 13/11/2018 16:24

I just use pure castor oil applied with a disposable mascara wand. It works a treat.

princesstiasmum · 13/11/2018 16:56

I am using castor oil ,doesnt seem to be working either,i have been using the lashXtreme for 2 months approx, and i cant see any difference at all

Aridane · 13/11/2018 23:47

I am going to persevere with Revitalash. However, I am now being more, realistic. After all, in the glaucoma medication, only SOME patients reported eyelash growth...

princesstiasmum · 14/11/2018 20:01

Aridane yes it did say only "SOME" people would see eyelash growth, obviously i am not one of them unfortunately,
I wonder why?

Aridane · 15/11/2018 01:40

princess presumably though y

Suddenly - overnight it seems, as others have reported - my lashes have sprouted. They are definitely longer than they have ever been before.

The only downside (if you can really call it that) is that they are slightly uneven - some seem to have sprouted more than others. But i only really notice that 'cos I am using a 10 x magnification mirror.

Result, on the whole.

Mine too! Definitely much longer, and other people are noticing.

Aridane · 05/12/2018 07:50

Well, I think mine may have sprouted.

It’s difficult to tell though as I’m permanently squinting into a x10 mirror and starting obsessively and not particularly objectively. However, I do seem to have eyelashes in places where there previously weren’t any.

I will take some pictures and compare them against my ‘before’ pictures.

MiaN · 05/12/2018 19:43

they didn't work for me - revitalash or revitabrow.

Laiste · 05/12/2018 22:44

Mine are longer. But i knew it worked for me. Just a case of keeping stocked up!

The some long some short thing happens to me too. Most of my lash hairs will be long (and really thick/strong) and curl gently sky wards but as OP says - if you peer in the mirror - there will be a little visible gap. Funny.

Aridane · 20/12/2018 13:31

Wow - it's taken longer than 6 weeks (closer to 8) - but there is a definite difference, particularly the upper lashes (and to a lesser extent the lower lashes).

What it looks like, to me, is when I've had individually applied eyelashes for an enhanced 'natural' look and they are just past their best - ie the lashes are still longer and thicker than normal but a few of the lashes are starting to go wonky. And they have gone curly!

I think I could now get away with not wearing mascara.

EyelashNamechange0 · 16/02/2019 09:10

I have name changed in case my eye lashes are outing Grin?

But thought I would post pictures of my pre Revitalash eyelashes and my post Revitala eyelashes.

I actually took the 'before' picture so I could get my money back if / when it didn't work.

Anyhow, here are the before pictures

(I am rather pleased with the difference - doesn't look that dramatic one pictures - but bugger me, it's difficult taking pictures of your own eyelashes)
