FogCutter · 17/09/2018 21:26

Erm what?!

SnuggyBuggy · 17/09/2018 21:27

Orange jumpsuit maybe but honestly it sounds barking

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/09/2018 21:27

You have to dress as a prisoner??

MirandaWest · 17/09/2018 21:28

That is possibly one of the most ridiculous things I have heard of

shakeyourcaboose · 17/09/2018 21:28

Well would it not depend on what category?

FogCutter · 17/09/2018 21:29

Have the bride and groom explained WHY their guests need to dress as prisoners?

ShirleyPhallus · 17/09/2018 21:30

Prisoner really?!

SnuggyBuggy · 17/09/2018 21:30

Are the bride and groom going to be Figueroa and Caputo?

thedevilinablackdress · 17/09/2018 21:32

I'm sorry, you appear to have got "wedding" and "Halloween party" confused.

Otherwise,
WHAT
THE
FUCK
???????????

PhaLANge · 17/09/2018 21:32

Eh? More details needed!

Luckily jumpsuits are very in at the moment Grin

DioneTheDiabolist · 17/09/2018 21:35

Zsa Zsa Gabor went to prison. Dress fabulously and say you're her.

IstillmissWoolworths · 17/09/2018 21:44

A prisoner? Sure it's not The Prisoner?

Ceeeeeelia · 17/09/2018 21:46

Is it on Oxford Prison (or similar) that's now. Fancy hotel?

Even so, this is nuts.

redexpat · 17/09/2018 21:47

Or Martha Stewart.

TheLuckyMrsPine · 17/09/2018 21:48

FGS I wish I was joking Grin

Seriously people I need to find something that I can feel like I am at a wedding in! Someone please help!

sleep that is the kind of suggestion I need, thank you! I have DD/E chest so I think the open back bit may cause a bit of difficulty. I am pushing 40 and after a few kids cannot go bra less these days sadly!

Mary Queen of Scots? Ruth Ellis? Bellatrix Lestrange in Azkaban? Christine Keeler?

TheLuckyMrsPine · 17/09/2018 21:49

ceeeeeelia yes this type of thing!

In this situation I would just ask the people inviting me what exactly they had in mind by 'dress like a prisoner' and ask for specific examples. Or just send a picture of an orange jumpsuit costume off eBay and ask if this is ok?!

Just googled prison themed wedding and it is indeed a thing.

Mumsnut · 17/09/2018 21:54

Bonnie Parker (your DH could go as Clyde)
Paris Hilton
Lindsey Lohan

GorgonLondon · 17/09/2018 21:54

That's incredibly crass and tasteless..

IdahoJones · 17/09/2018 21:57

Fletch
Godber
The Man in the Iron Mask
Mr Bojangles the Mouse

I always think denim when talking about prison clothes. Could this be enough of a nod to the theme and still be dressed up?
