Leopard print - can it ever look classy?

I’ve been watching some LFW shows via vloggers and have noticed a fair bit of animal print - especially leopard print. I’m not a fan of animal print per se, it reminds me so much of Kat Slater but, on the runway there were some decent pieces which actually looked great, classy even.

What are people’s thoughts on leopard print? I was quite fancying these but would like brutal opinions?

Thanks

I realise this is a really old thread but who cares if it looks classy if not? I love leopard print and will always wear it.

Having seen Sian Gibson looking fab on Taskmaster in a Leopard print shirt dress I ordered this

I can’t yet decide if it looks good on me or if it’s too Kat Slater 😄

I saw a lady the day after a wedding (she was a guest) - she was wearing a leopard print midi shirt dress with white trainers. She was tall & slim & looked so elegant I couldn’t stop staring

It depends where you are:

Are you in the south - not classy

Are you in the north - leopard is a neutral

Went on holiday to Liverpool and loads of women were out in leopard print and looked amazing. While back where I live it is wall to wall White Stuff and Hush. Honestly, I thought the back home look was dull but if I stepped out in leopard print at home I'm not sure I could pull it off.

Rylan Clark Neal's mum was on Celebrity Gogglebox with him last night wearing a Zara leopard print dress and she looked amaaaazing.

When it comes to leopard print, if it looks crap, you're doing it wrong.

I really like it! And I am usually more of a subtle grey and navy sort of person, but I can’t resist animal print....

So Cherish123 you found a thread from 8 months ago just to say No. No. No. Leopard print is trashy. It looks common.

When people resurrect ancient threads I always think, "did you deliberately google 'is leopard print classy' and THEN give a really strong opinion on it"? It's quite strange behaviour. If you feel so strongly then why Google for other people's opinions? Validation? {Ponders}

I don’t think the queen is wearing print!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 23/06/2019 01:58

Leopard print suits most people but not everyone.
I'm known for my leopard print wearing mainly shoes, scarves & trousers/jumpsuits.
I even shock horror mix my animal prints up with a bit of zebra or giraffe thrown into the leopard mix!

As long as you only wear one leopard print thing it looks great, but I wouldn’t go out dressed head to toe in it. My easy go - to outfit for a night out are chunky black brogues, black jeans, black top, black jacket and long skinny leopard print scarf. Chunky ethnic style silver jewellery. Hair left long and wavy, little makeup and a reddish lipgloss. My DP loves that look.
