Best lipbalm?

My lips are already getting sore with the colder weather creeping in. I've been using good old vaseline to try and prevent them from.chapping, but it's not doing the trick this time? What's the best lipbalm? I purchased a Nivea one last year but wasn't very impressed neither. Has anyone used the Burts Bees one?

Vaseline makes my lips worse, dry up and get hot.
You need a lip balm without petroleum.
EOS are good.

I’ve got the. Burt Bees ones. They are very good but the best one is the L’Occitane one.

Lanolips

Burts Bees every time for me! I like the one with peppermint oil best.

Nettletheelf · 06/09/2018 23:32

Seconding EOS. Ther was one in the M&S summer beauty box and it’s brilliant.

Carmex in the pot. I've tried so many but I keep coming back to it, nothing else touches it for me.

INeedNewShoes · 06/09/2018 23:36

I've tried most of them but the only one that works well for me (I've now used only this one for four years) is the medicated Chapstick (pale blue tube).

Slapbetcommissioner · 06/09/2018 23:38

Carmex

IHaveBrilloHair · 06/09/2018 23:38

Another vote for Burts Bees, it really works, and is very soothing too.

Ollivander84 · 07/09/2018 00:06

Hurraw moon balm. SO good

mintmagnummm · 07/09/2018 06:07

Eucerin intensive lip balm is really good. I do like burts bees too but not the one with peppermint as that made my lips sore and dry, the pomegranate one was my fave.

KnockMeDown · 07/09/2018 06:11

Body Shop vitamin E lip balm is brilliant.

BikeRunSki · 07/09/2018 06:15

Burts Bees is excellent
The Blistex one on the little metal tube

Nuxe Rêve de Miel is great. I also get very cracked lips and find anything with petroleum jelly (like Vaseline or Carmex makes it worse in the long run). So stick to things based on natural waxes/oils. Hurts Bees is also good but not as nourishing as the Nuxe one.

DeadCertain · 07/09/2018 06:50

P'URE Papaya Lips is brilliant.
Burts Bees.
Blistex.

wafflyversatile · 07/09/2018 06:53

Burts bees or any one without petroleum for every day and blisteze for flare ups.

Most lip balms will just get you addicted to them as they make things worse. I used to use them many times a day and would suffer if I went half a day without. Now I go days without using one at all.

Sitranced · 07/09/2018 07:18

Carmex or Malibu

BusterTheBulldog · 07/09/2018 07:20

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour one is my fav.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 07/09/2018 07:20

8 hour cream (or the 8 hour lip protectant stick)

AwdBovril · 07/09/2018 07:24

Body Shop Vit E or Hemp (smells a bit odd but great if they're very dry). No petroleum oil AFAIK.

Kintan · 07/09/2018 07:26

I’m a big fan of the 8 hour cream lip balm. After using Vaseline for years it was a revelation!

Carmex in the pot or their stick.
Nivea stick is okay too.

I don't find Burts Bees that good

WinnerWinnerChickenDinner0 · 07/09/2018 07:28

The plain yellow one

Years and years of badly chapped lips and tried everything. It works
