I cannot believe how quickly the gorgeous duck egg floral Kensington dress has sold out!!! 2 days!!! Its really pretty. I have never really liked it for me but I could see me wearing it in that colour with chunky boots.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 09:54

We are hush twins today Melen!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 09:56

I guess its one of those dresses that is going to be on a super long waiting list. If anyone has purchased it, can you post a piccy of you wearing it?

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 09:56

Ive only worn mine once.. I just dont feel right in it - all over was just too much . I did notice though yesterday in town that leopard spots are everywhere! .Next had a similar dress, , but this T may have potential? ..

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 09:59

That's a great tee laska. Leopard is really in atm. I still have my leopard slub V-neck although im sure it shrunk a bit. Annoying as all the other slubs have grown!

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:00

But there is something different about the Kensington this season. I thought it would look frumpy on me. Is it the elastication on the waist?

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:02

I think it would look good as the model has styled it. The summer one although absolutely beautiful colour and print was just not me - too teacher like [sort of thing my mum would wear!!!]]
Other people looked great in it but not the summer one for me or the previous season. I am drawn to it this season.

Ellapaella · 16/08/2018 10:03

It's finally cool enough to wear my rose jumper today. Only just though. If he sun pops out I'll have to take a layer off I think. I was sos excited for autumn clothes but it's still so warm and summery I'm finding it hard to get too enthusiastic. I love the combination of the jumper and skirt on the catalogue cover. I'm very tempted by that skirt, the jumper though.. I just know that'll shrink as soon as washed.

Please excuse all the stupid typos. If anyone gets a v neck wide jersey top please could you post some photos as I like the idea of it with skinny jeans or leather type leggings. But it would have to look really good for £50.

The skirt is really pretty. I don't like the jumper. Its too bulky with the skirt. Something finer and neater would be far better. Sometimes I do wonder about how hush pair things. Some of their pairings are truly dreadful. The colour works. I just would not wear that combo because of the textures. Or maybe its because she is sitting down and it looks way too big for her.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:09

The skirt is pretty short. You would look great in it Ella I would probably wear it with thick tights and a dark navy or red jumper and ankle boots. Do you think its a bit of a young look?

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:12

oh sorry, I thought it was the lurex stripe skirt. I see its the ruched one. That's not short. I do prefer the zebra. I have ordered that. It should be here tomorrow.

ilovecherries · 16/08/2018 10:13

But you put it on as an auction at £25 laska? If you put at on at buy it now at that price, then I’d end it and resist. It will go up a lot in the last couple of days of the auction.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:13

It is a beautiful print Ella [ruched skirt] On my wish list.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:15

I started my bidding at 19.99 and it had 11 bids and ended at £57 excluding postage. With something like that, you know it will sell as the leopard print is HOT right now.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 10:17

I may be selling it privately to someone here..

ilovecherries · 16/08/2018 10:17

I do have a sewing machine, but I’m not really confident - hems, curtains, etc has been my limit so far. But I was looking at last years wide jersey top and thinking ‘surely I could do that.’ I may buy one and then use it as a pattern to make more. (Brave). But my current mantra is ‘not till after my holidays’.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:17

I rarely ever do a buy it now. Always list something starting with what is the minimum of what I would be happy with unless its something I know will sell well [ check completed listings].

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 10:18

.. but i know they will love it..

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:19

Oh right...well if its already a deal then...That's a shame.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 10:19

.. and dont want to embarrass them..its fine .. Wink

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:19

Well exactly Laska

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 10:20

Good on you :)

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 10:21

Im happy with what I said for price to another lovely Hushista ! (if you are reading..)

but a bit Blush now ..

Ellapaella · 16/08/2018 10:21

@neveradullmoment99 I'm going to go for that print over the zebra one I think. With tights and black Chelsea boots (or even DM's actually) and I have a nice fine knit navy jumper from Cos that would work. I love the zebra print too so who knows maybe I'll end up with both eventually!
