What do you think of it?

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 20:05

I really like the shape of it and from a distance I love the print but don't get the 'h's. Its the same with the pleated skirt. I think the print is a bit strange. They call it playful on the hush website.

DavetheCat2001 · 17/08/2018 20:09

Yeah I'm the same never.

I like the shape of it, but the print is a bit odd. Reminds me of the old WH Smith logo from the 1980's!

I've just ordered the black flock star print tee, which I think will go well with my leopard maxi and Santana skirts.

DavetheCat2001 · 17/08/2018 20:09

Love your wooden earrings btw!

dontcallmelen · 17/08/2018 20:10

I like the shape/style but think I would have to see it in RL, as not sure about the print.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 20:12

Thanks :) I really love earrings. I have loads!!!

Reminds me of the old WH Smith logo That is so true!!!! That is what its like. Its not playful, its weird. Love the style though.

ilovecherries · 17/08/2018 20:12

No, the sweat isn’t for me. Last thing I need on my chest is a target! Yes, it was an M

Here!!!

Hush AW18 continued...
DavetheCat2001 · 17/08/2018 20:24

haha never..uncanny!

Maybe I'll give it a miss..it's bloody expensive too!

ilovecherries · 17/08/2018 20:31

Remember though Soy that the Boden silk shirts fit you, but wouldn’t fasten on me. Although the coat was tight on my hips as well, which IS really unusual. It fastened, but I couldn’t have sat down in it, and you could see it pulling.

Ellapaella · 17/08/2018 20:32

I'll be totally honest Dave I'm not keen on that dress. It's just a bit odd.. don't really get the pattern. Would be a nice style otherwise over leggings or skinnies but I can't get past the pattern.

I had a HoF voucher that a client had given me at Xmas. I rushed into Frasers last week and bought a Longchamp Pilage and a Dior mascara. Glad I did.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 21:03

cherries You must be so pleased!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 21:06

Yes, the pattern is almost like something that would be printed on a uniform. I really like the pleated skirt that has that print but I don't like the print and isn't it strange how hush always proclaim their models are particular heights - one being 5ft 11 and the other being 5ft 10 and yet look at the second picture and the hush model is wearing a longer pleated skirt. No doubt about it.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 21:08

The brunette model has a shorter skirt on and yet is smaller than the blonde one who is wearing a longer skirt but is taller?? Extremely strange. The skirt I am talking about is the trina pleated skirt. Just goes to show that their responses when complaining about dress/skirts lengths are fake!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 21:10

I really love that skirt. Love the curved hem and love it short like it is on the brunette model. Pity about the print although its better on the skirt than the dress but still weird.

Ellapaella · 17/08/2018 21:28

I really like the parka coat with the animal print detail in the hood. This would be a perfect coat for me - need something really warm in winter up here. Anyone got Hush coats? Are they practical and hard wearing?

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 21:33

Its a gorgeous coat. I don't have one but have always loved the look of them. I think they get great reviews except for the hood. People always complain its too big and heavy. I bought an oasis parka last year and I wore and wore it.

redtulip12 · 17/08/2018 22:05

Thank you everyone for such kind replies. My DH is useless and gave me no feedback so assumed I looked rubbish in both.
The Ivy is going back as I don't think I will wear it but I am going to try the Emmanuelle on again tomorrow properly with footwear etc and see what I think.
Thanks everyone for posting photos. It really helps to see the clothes in real life (although not helping my wallet). Hoping my leggings come tomorrow! My teenage daughter is not impressed with the amount of animal print I am suddenly wearing Smile

Ellapaella · 17/08/2018 22:05

I think I could get a cheaper one elsewhere but as usual Hush have the lovely detailing and it's just exactly what I want. Which is why I usually end up paying more because nothing else really competes when it comes down to it. I was planning on a wool coat (which I will still get) but need a practical warm coat for the much colder months.

Ellapaella · 17/08/2018 22:08

@redtulip12 I think the Ivy looks nice on you and would look lovely with tights or leggings and ankle boots and some nice jewellery.
The Emmanuelle I see with sandals or pumps for warmer weather but with a delicate heel for wearing out in the evening as well. It's a lovely dress.

dontcallmelen · 17/08/2018 22:10

ella I know what you mean, that coat is really the only item am lusting after.

Isn't that just SO true and why we purchase and keep going back. It is very annoying!!! Very often buy as dupes but am not really ever happy and end up buying it anyway!

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 22:13

buying the hush one anyway!

Judydreamsofhorses · 17/08/2018 22:19

Update on the faux fur coat - mine is in the sorting office. I ordered the 10, and suspect it will go back if it comes up really small. I am a 10 in places like Topshop, Whistles etc, but usually an eight in Hush, so just assumed it would be fine, especially as it’s described as “oversized”. Annoying as it will be bulky for returning.
