Hush AW18 continued...

Hello all - new thread to keep us going for the AW18 collection.

Yup never best thing.. I always say I'll do that also ..

I ordered the leopard leggings in small from JL as i wanted them tomorrow and was too late for next day postage. I did lose the 10% and had to pay £2 for postage but then would have had to pay £6 because i don't have friends of hush back yet. PITA..come on hush. When will you put it back???

JL was very disappointing. Very little of new collection, and not many sizes. Ivy and wide jersey in XS, I think an S would be better.

Fur coat. Lovely but no pockets and only sleeves are lined. And for hush, very small. This is a 14 and barely fastened.

I kept both of the wide tops and Ivy in XS.. I agree the wide top looks smaller on you than me , probably boobage differences? , but the navy Ivy looks great on you ,

Odd about the coat size ( they really are not consistent are they ?) , Its lovely though

Love the fur coat on you cherries Absolutely gorgeous.BUT what on earth are they thinking of not having pockets??? Bad mistake. Love the navy ivy on you. Hope you bought it. You really suit it.
Which JL were you in cause if it was the one in the Galleries, it had no new stuff in when i was there a week ago.

Newcastle, never. There is a big difference in fabric between round and v neck jersey tops as well. Didn’t buy anything, just wanted to get sizing, but will order with discount. I’m not really a 14 anywhere now, so wassurprised by the coat.

Yes, not worth ordering without the discount. What surprised me hugely when i went in was the amount of stuff that was reduced in Hush or even on the JL website but not in their store. I would be annoyed by that.

It will be just small made. Hush sizes can be all over the place!

Is the round one thicker? I like the lightness of the V-neck and its lovely and stretchy.

The picture on the website of hush is very misleading.The way she is standing in the first one it looks like there are pockets. Are you sure there weren't any cherries? Sometimes its deceiving as they are sewn up.

I say this because i have bought jackets thinking there weren't any and have later found that there are!! They have been stitched up ever so neatly. It was a Toast coat that i had. I was so glad when i found them!!!

Just thought I'd post my first arrival. Leopard leggings and wide v top should arrive tomorrow.
Ivy in xs is too big. I'm an 8/10 and if I kept my hands in my pockets all the time it could look ok. Sadly as that's not practical it's going back. Love the colour though.

Emmanuelle Dress. It's ok, again in xs and fits well apart from a bit of a gape due to boobage. Think a small would be too big though. It's nice but black doesn't really suit me next to my face so may return and gonfor the green Yasmin.

@neveradullmoment99 love the zebra skirt on you. Definitely a keeper.

red tulip I think the ivy looks good on you. Imo it doesn't look really huge or anything. Also you really suit the emanuelle dress but i know what you mean about the gape at the buttons. I had this. I wore a slip under it. Its very pretty on you.
Thanks for the positive comments about the zebra skirt. I am keeping it :)

@neveradullmoment99 the earrings are lovely. You have such a good eye - I wouldn't have looked twice at those on the website but they look so good on you - am tempted myself.

Picked up my gorgeous M&S buckle boots in burgundy this evening. They are really lovely, lighter weight than they look and thankfully true to size which I was worrying about as the larger sizes are going oos rapidly. I could do with them being fractionally wider across the toes but they’re leather so will stretch - I’ll wear them round the house until it’s a bit more autumn-y out.

Apologies, it has very fragile in-seam pockets. Fine for hands but keys etc would damage them very quickly I suspect.

cherries you’ve shrunk again? Looking super slim and now you’ve got me worried on the fur coat as I ordered a 12 thinking it looked huge in the model, oh well it’ll be a return then sniffs but still look forward to seeing in RL, I think never might be right about pockets. Everything I mean Everything looks great on you

redtulip Ditto! You’re so pretty and look like a Hush model. Like others said I do like the Emmanuelle on you...could you sew on a little clip on boobage gap (maybe not worth bothering at current price but definitely consider if you can buy it at sale price)

I actually love that jumper on you cherries. I think you should buy it. I actually really like where the star is. I didn't really like the jumper on the website tbh but it looks nice on you! A keeper!
