neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 22:49

Yes. I love that one. Only in grey though.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 22:50

Not sure about sizes but its a good price and its a really nice bubblegum print. I like it!!

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 22:51

these are nice,(or would be if they were cotton) have seen them in local shop

Ellapaella · 16/08/2018 22:51

@neveradullmoment99 I think you may have just saved me a fortune! A quick look at Next knitwear - loads of stuff I like!

There is actually quite a lot of hush look a like things!!! There is a twisted knot shirt dress very similar to the hush one in style but in a navy. Nice outfit. Love the skirt.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 22:56

Ella you would look lovely in that. :)

ilovecherries · 16/08/2018 22:58

I had an H&M knock off of the Sabrina. Bought it in Malaga, never saw it in the uk. I sold it earlier in the year as it was too big. Loads of people admired it, and it did well on ebay but I was never sure how to wear it as it was longer than my longest coat. Probably only wore it on cool spring and autumn days with a scarf.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 23:02

..the trouble with Next , I find is that there is always something slightly wonky with their stuff. .. Nice design but rubbish fabrics, , or annoying embellishments ..

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 23:02

I thought someone bought it on here. In fact at the time I thought a few people had. I would find that cardi very awkward. I love the chunkier one on the hush website. Looks a bit like it has mohair in it.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 23:03

The keris cardi

neveradullmoment99 · 16/08/2018 23:04

I agree Laska but then its ok for fast fashion. I just hate that about a million people have the same dress. Its very popular in the staff room.

Laska5772 · 16/08/2018 23:05

this might be ok though

miffy2 · 16/08/2018 23:09

I have a Sabrina from last year, in the light grey.

It is perfect for me for work. I work in classrooms that go from freezing to stuffy in a few hours and I have to cross to the main building a lot. So as a throw-on it is great and decent enough to be seen in.

I also wear it at weekends if I go shopping as I am not really comfortable in coats (peri-menopausal) and I throw on a scarf over it. And I happily leave it in the car knowing it will go over most of my clothes choices if I need an extra layer.

However, the sleeves are an awkward length, just past the elbow. So, not proper cardigan length. If I have a short sleeve top on (as I often do even in winter) then my wrists are frozen; if I have a long sleeve then it pokes out underneath.

I would also say size down as I have M and it is big. I bought it in a sale and had no smaller option to try.

Having said that though I can't wait to get it out to wear again.

Ellapaella · 16/08/2018 23:10

Yes that cardigan is very nice. I agree though that it's hard to know when to wear them as you can't really put a long cardi under a coat.
I haven't even looked in Next for years as the quality was really very poor about 5 years ago and it was very dull. They seem to have upped their game though of late.. seen a few nice things in there recently and a lot does look quite Hush like.

Order placed.

In the end I went for
black military jacket (smaller size than my green)
Yes Sir T - just have to try this!
leopard leggings - have a feeling they won't work with my thighs
grey v neck wide jersey top
Oh! The ziggy jumper in large as I want to try it loose. I love the star pattern and that shade of grey.

Had 'some' restraint and left the green top and the rock n roll pink sweatshirt for another day. Hopefully they won't sell out. I have the leopard belt on my wishlist too.

neveradullmoment99 · 17/08/2018 08:34

You can get cheap leopard belts on Amazon and most likely everywhere when the season kicks in properly. I was also admiring it and then thought about seeing what other shops have. If you buy this accessory cheap you can save the rest of your money for other hush purchases!!!!!!

Talisin · 17/08/2018 08:41

On the subject of Next jumpers (I’m just catching up) they also have this navy star jumper for £26 and also a gray version with a rainbow coming soon.

SoyYo · 17/08/2018 09:03

Morning! Just catching up
Nice creative Logo T’s laska
Great haul miffy
I also loved the red coat and if the furry one is not 100% perfect that’s the one next on my wish list
Hoping the twist dress won’t be a pain to iron but will bear in mind, for me it would be perfect for work event coming up in Madrid early October but we shall see how it looks on.

Finally next jumpers, good value love the one never posted with the rainbow arms. I’m not looking to buy more jumpers right now in any case but the round neck on the next jumpers would make me look Huge on top. Too close to the neck if that makes sense. Hush jumpers tend to have a lower neck even if not v necked (can’t explain well but hope you understand what I mean) which means I can just about get away with the style. But if you’re not a 34FF then a great bargainous alternative Smile

Laska5772 · 17/08/2018 09:36

I accept that Hush do seem to be pulling numbers out of the air on pricing.. but the prob i find with cheaper knitwear is always the quality issue though .

I dont know what it is i do, or if it really is bad quality , but i have found so many times that cheap acrylic etc knitwear just goes strange often ,thin,/ baggy/pilled all at the same time. after just a wash or two..

I do really rate John Lewis cashmere though.. and also Boden relaxed cashmere jumpers.. I have several and they just seem to last and last ..

Today at home and have decided to start to tackle my clothes glut and get rid of loads of stuff. I so need to do this now I am no longer working full time.. I just simply do not need the same kind of work wardrobe anymore . I will take some down to charity and sell some other things.. It wont be Hush going though !

dontcallmelen · 17/08/2018 09:40

Boden have a couple of nice jumpers, one with stripey arms/stars about 75.00 I think, yy with Laska re John Lewis cashmere I have a lovely v neck which has been worn n washed forever & is still like new.

dontcallmelen · 17/08/2018 09:50

I also got a couple of v neck loose fit long cashmere jumpers, in pale grey & light pink from Tesco last year, which are lovely & washed well think they were about 40.00 each.
