That’s a beauty *Porpoisefully”!
I think if the suede quality is as good as it looks on the photo Keep!
It looks beautiful.
I have a couple of suede biker style jackets. Both have lasted well.
Get some spray to treat and make it more waterproof, the spray I use for suede shoes also worked on my suede jackets. I bought it (along with some suede shoes...I would wouldn’t I?) around 2 years ago and it’s still got some liquid in the can.
Or ask Hush customer services what spray they recommend.
The one I have came from Germany so not sure if Amazon would stock but I’m sure there must be similar you can pick up here.
It’s called Collonil classic.
I wear my suede and leather bikers a lot! They go with everything and that’s such a lovely shade. Jeans, or skirts it’ll go with so much.
But You have to feel the ❤️ For it too. I don’t want to enable if you’re not feeling it as it is a wardrobe investment but it won’t date.
Hope this helps.

soy I love the flowery top in yo ,but TBH not sure if I like the white so much. I think it looks too big on you. Maybe size down?

Shoes are good Never did you keep yours?

Soy the bra you recommended came today , really good thnaks
porpoise that jacket is Lush!

I love the look of the Amies and rose on everyone, but have resisted .. I have far too much

Thanks laska for confirming my gut feeling. The print is a bit snug round the bust but because of the very loose style I can just about get away with it in a 10 and at that price I’m keeping cause it makes me feel happy Smile, if you look at the model online you’ll see it’s meant to be much looser and flowy than on me.
The white is a 10, and roomy but I think my bust size couldn’t cope with an 8 and it does nothing for my inverted triangle shape. It’s the style, back it goes.
So glad you approve of the Fantasie bra! You did go for the unpadded version yes?

Justfivemoreminutesplease · 08/08/2018 19:36

Hummm. I was encouraged by you all to have one last look at the sale and stumbled across this - it’s the Fearne dress size 10 in white. I’m really not sure - I can’t decide if it looks like a petticoat or a pattern dress ready to be made into something far more fancy. I can’t decide BUT IT’S ONLY £18!!! I’ve tried different shoes and also a belt but that was awful. Am not sure I can pull of the shapeless Cos style BUT IT’S ONLY £18....

@Justfive hmmm sorry it’s a no from me, It’s just a bit shapeless.
@Porpoise that jacket is fabulous.

Ellapaella · 08/08/2018 19:46

@Justfivemoreminutesplease I'd be tempted to get it taken up a couple of inches or perhaps even dye it black or navy. Personally I don't think it looks right with the boots (please don't be offended).. IMO I think it would be better with either a heel (maybe a small kitten heel sandal or open toe) or even a flat delicate sandal or perhaps trainers like the ones SoYo and Never have just got in the sale.
It needs some statement jewellery too I think, big earrings or the long star pendant and perhaps some silver bangles.

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 19:47

Its only £18.. but 18 wasted if you are not going to wear it just. Honestly? I think its just far too plain and I dont think it does that much for you .. Sorry..

Ellapaella · 08/08/2018 19:48

@PorpoisefullyObtuse the jacket is divine! Love it. That would go with so many different things, perfect autumn jacket. Are you keeping?

ilovecherries · 08/08/2018 19:51

five, I think you are right, it looks a bit like a toile to me. I think the combo of colour/fabric/style is too much.

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 19:51

soy yes Unpadded! I do not need any more up top!

OP posts:
SoyYo · 08/08/2018 19:59

just NO looks to me like you’re an hourglass shape, that dress does nothing for you. Too straight up and down and for that shape it needs to flow too. Sorry I know £18 is not a lot but a lot if it’ll end up unworn because you’ll never feel “quite right” in it...

Ellapaella · 08/08/2018 20:01

@neveradullmoment99 are Hush shoes true to size? I'm taking it they are ok for wide feet - I just really have to have the trainers I posted below when they are released. I can't stop looking at them and feeling the love 😍😍 I think it's the stars, I have a thing for them.

Justfivemoreminutesplease · 08/08/2018 20:02

Right that’s it - thank you - it’s going back. I also went through my entire shoe cupboard trying to find something - anything - that went Grin.
And yes, it’s all still money wasted. I’ll just stare at it in the wardrobe waiting for that one event that states ‘white shapeless dresses’ on the invite...

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 20:05

or 'come as a dentist's assistant' just . Oops.. Am I channeling my 'Inner Boris' again here? --yes, it was me responsible for 'kipper feet' also Blush

Yeay laska this is why those Fantasie t shirts bras are my go to everyday style 👍 just great.
Btw I’ve been so naughty too lately (despite all the sale returns I’ve also kept loads) I blame it on my convalescing and half my Fr colleagues going off on summer hols and not driving me nuts as they usually do...very demanding people Grin
Today if I’m totally honest is the first day I feel almost back to normal. Ankle swelling much better and not so painful. I have high hopes tomorrow’s x rays will confirm no fracture. Ears stopped making that funny water sound (what did you say? Wink) and in general getting old mojo back.
Just in time for my next trip which will not give me time to look at any bargains for 8 days.
But just one more parcel to arrive tomorrow. Halo disappeared into the stratosphere never to be seen again 👋👋👋

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 20:07

Actually Boris and I do have something in common as well as the blond hair .. and its not our politics!

neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:07

Porpoise Just to echo what everyone has said. That jacket is just stunning BUT I just think you will be worrying about the rain and staining it. If you can get by that [ and tbh, I just couldn't as it rains here A LOT] Then keep. It would boil down to practicalities.
Justfive You have a lovely figure hidden underneath a dental nurse uniform. It just doesn't look right. I reckon Ella's idea of dying it would be great. Ask Laska for tips.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:08

Justfive Its just too plain, too white and the wrong length for you. But its not you..its the dress.

SoyYo · 08/08/2018 20:10

But would never blame this thread HmmGrin

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 20:10

Home Dyeing wont work on that fabric ,as its polyester and even if it did the stitching would still be white.. dont bother .

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:12

Oh didn't realise it was crappy polyester. Definitely back it goes....

Laska5772 · 08/08/2018 20:12

.. It may have something to so with the letter J Wink
outed myself to those here who know my real first name..

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:13

Ella The trainers are true to size verging on slightly generous and will be great for wide feet. I have a bunion and the leather is so soft it doesn't bother it.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:15

Do 'real' people know you on mumsnet Laska?

neveradullmoment99 · 08/08/2018 20:15

I mean non cyber people. We are all real...
