How does one look sexy?

Just this......I always feel I look comfortable with a big smile. Hair that falls into a neat parting. I want a more sexy, sultry look but can’t figure out how.....

It's all subjective surely. I think one of the easiest things to do to appear sexy is to work on confidence and body posture to appear more confident.

Wearing a matching set of nice underwear, that only you know you are wearing can make you feel sexy. Smile.

Done/undone hair
Definitely not shiny American tv presenter hair
Stilettos aren’t sexy - they look cool but not sexy
I would like an athletic body which is firm. That’s sexy.not me jiggling about!!

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 13/07/2018 11:10

a black boat neck top with black cigarette pants, matched with a bold lipstick and a stiletto of any colour screams style, class and understated sex appeal

We're all different, aren't we Grin. I don't find this particularly understated! I would never wear cigarette pants with a stiletto - I think they're much better with flats.

My DH wouldn't find this sexy - he prefers casual styles, jeans and an 'undone' look.

Sexy is about attitude and confidence. It's got nothing to do with what you wear

This ^^, definitely.

Bettedavis absolutely! The look you’ve described your husband as liking on you is the look I like on a man - the tuxedo has never attracted me! My partner is a builder and he looks his sexiest covered in dusty work clothes Wink

Confidence.

I'm never sure what women define as sexy tbh, it seems to vary wildly from what I see. According to male friend: Simple form fitting (not skin tight) clothes that fit to your figure and show your best bits off. Dangly earrings. Shoulder length or longer hair. Natural looking makeup. And boots or flats are still sexy if teamed with right outfit (black jeans or leggings & boots got a special mention!). Tho male friend is a Londoner & as I find London men can be picky/image obsessed!

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 13/07/2018 21:30

I agree with confidence.
Other than that, I think looking looking like the most attractive version of " you" is important. So I have a sort of Latino thing going on which lots of a certain type of men like.
However a remember a girl that all the men were mad about. She looked like the blonde one on humans. Dull clothes, very straight blonde bob , dead eyes in a very pale blue. Hardly smiled. Slim. I still can't work out what they saw apart from being a bit unpenetrable.
The opposite of why men find me attractive.
So I just think it's playing to your audience really.

rightknockered · 14/07/2018 14:51

I think PP is right about the audience, it also depends on the age of the man. Older men like a more stereotypical look. Younger men like a more currently trend led look. For myself, I like to look directional. I used to tone it down for dating, but now I just don't bother because I don't want a conventional and traditional partner.

I like clothes from Gestuz and like the styling on the website. Also like some Toast (when I can get it to fit me) and some Whistles for work.
