Grin at the amount that dry is taking. It’s all sounds great and you’ll look fab. Is dh having the same panic?

fedup I love the velvet ones but the leather will be more practical for winter. This weekend I’m packing and then going on holiday tomorrow! Looking forward to some sun but I’ll be ready for autumn clothes when I got back. I was freezing in my outfit yesterday. I’m looking forward to wearing ballet flats again as didn’t really in spring as we seemed to go from winter to summer so I just did trainers to sandals.

Longislandicetee · 25/08/2018 11:19

We are back! Such a fabulous time away! I am envious of QueenC going away tomorrow.Smile Absolutely loved my holiday wardrobe, everything worked and it was nice to try out some new things too. I wore my Gianvito Rossi heeled sandals every night, i am very in love with them. I also used Mac tendertalk lip balm. I have been using the pink side dish colour during this Spring Summer and decided to get the red for the holiday. So I wore the pink during the day in/by the pool and red in the evening. The colour really sticks too even when you swim.

Dry, ShockShockShockShock breathe honey. You might want to slim the choices down a bit or else you will be in a dither while you're away. keeps phone handy

Longislandicetee · 25/08/2018 11:20

Oh I meant to say FedUp I love the last two, not sure about the first.

AmberNectarine · 25/08/2018 14:40

fedup I try to provide a service.

Going to see La Spears tonight. Got my 'It's Britney, bitch' t-shirt prepped and ready.

libertyonhertravels · 25/08/2018 22:13

Quick swing by to say I hope things are all going well for Blair, babyBlair and MrBlair. Such a lovely time for you.

No fashion news here, it's a gorgeous day - temperature predicted to be up to 17C here today so feels like spring has started and we're planning a beach walk. I think I'll risk getting my ankles out! We bought a paddleboard yesterday - new hobby awaits Smile.

On the house we lodged the plans with the council on Friday (I was changing them right up to the last minute) and have lots of quotes sorted. Need to try and line it all up now, I'm itching to get the kitchen done but probably makes sense to do the laundry first as more messy work involved on that bit of the house. I'm really hoping the kitchen can be done before Christmas. I got ridiculously excited picking a new oven.

Dry have a great time. 7 pairs of shoes and 4 handbags made me laugh. Also have a great holiday QueenC.

Everyonelovessparkles · 26/08/2018 08:53

Have a great holiday queenc.

Glad you had a good time bliny. My hush cardigan jacket arrived and it’s great. Lovely colour and I think will be a good piece for autumn and spring when you need some kind of jacket but not a full on coat. The small was a perfect fit for me.

Hope you have a nice weeekend dry. I know what you mean about temperamental weather making packing a nightmare. You just need a bit of everything. Your trouser outfits have got me wanting some smart / going out trousers. I love the idea of trouser outfits, and they are great for this transitional weather, but I just never find trousers that fit properly. I think it’s because a 10 is too small and a 12 is too big. Maybe I’ll have a look again this season.

Love those shoes justa. Annoying how prices can vary so much betweeen retailers.

Not sure about the shiny silver supergas fedup but the other colours are nice.

Fingers crossed you get the kitchen done for Christmas lib. I fancy paddle boarding, it looks fun. You’ll have to let me know How you get on. It made me laugh when you said it was 17 and felt like spring, as it’s about 17 here in Cornwall at the moment in the height of summer Grin. Though it’s feels very autumnal now.

shop hope your DF is doing ok and marsha hope your DM is feeling better too.

There’s still quite a few good sales buys I have my eye on, but abit tricky ordering whilst we’re away. I won’t link unless I decide to buy / keep as I don’t want them to sell out before I have chance to order! At the same time I’m trying to refine my list for AW. Don’t want to peak too early before the full stock is out Grin but have already seen quite a lot I like. Luckily my birthday is coming up so I can have a big splurge Grin.

DryWhiteagainW · 26/08/2018 19:46

Ok, outfit update (because I know you're all worried about my wardrobe Grin)
I've so far worn 4 different pairs of shoes.
3 different tops.
2 different rain coats.
2 different pairs of trousers.
Used 2 3 different handbags.
And I've only been here since 3pm yesterday Grin

Must be a record Grin

Race day tomorrow........

3 not 23 handbags , that would be silly

Everyonelovessparkles · 26/08/2018 20:28

That’s pretty good going dry, you’re on par with my DS for wardrobe changes Grin (though probably for different reasons!) Hope you are having a good time. Any good outfits?

Hope you had a good time at Britney last night amber.

DryWhiteagainW · 26/08/2018 22:55

Everyone will report any good outfits tomorrow.....today it's mostly been waterproofs and walking Boots Sad

Longislandicetee · 26/08/2018 23:09

Fantastic to hear that the Hush cardigan jacket worked out Everyone. It's lovely isnt' it? As usual i don't have a AW list yet, although that's probably because i am due yet another wardrobe clear out!

Dry, too funny. Hope you're having a fab time!

Today, dh and i took the dcs to an airshow, when it was absolutely pissing it down. On the plus side, i got to wear my rarely used Hunter pink wellies and also the Canada Goose hooded shell down coat I bought earlier this year. Both did a great job of keeping me warm and as dry as possible while foolishly wondering around in torrential rain!

DryWhiteagainW · 28/08/2018 20:40

Hello everyone. I know you’ve been stressing about my weekend wardrobe Grin but it’s ok because I had a fab time. My clothes were fine. I used everything except the block heeled sandals (mud) and one other pair of heels. Weather was all over the place.
What I discovered is that at smaller race meets anything goes (even in the “fancy” bit) and what is important is what your group is wearing. I saw some fascinatiors (not many), posh frocks with wellies (me initially), lots of tweedy country clothes and really dressed down too. In the end I ditched the summer dress and went for black wedges, trench coat, darker dress with nearly black sheer tights. Felt fine.

It looked like so much fun Dry and as usual you looked fab!

Longislandicetee · 28/08/2018 20:48

I love these Dune red kitten heel ankle boots but they're too pointy to love me back. Learned that lesson when i tried to copy Dry

Longislandicetee · 28/08/2018 21:15

I like these mint velvet boots, sadly it will be a 2nd autumn/winter of flat boots for meSad

Longislandicetee · 28/08/2018 21:25

John Lewis are doing my J Crew toothpick jeans!

DryWhiteagainW · 28/08/2018 22:59

Stop Blingy .... I love the red boots and the jeans look great. What’s the sizing like in the jeans? (Guess where I’m going tomorrow with my voucher?)

OP posts:
Longislandicetee · 29/08/2018 08:42

The jeans are true to size Dry. So if you're 25 inch waist, you buy size 25. So when i went up to 26" waist, i bought size 26 and they are still TTS. I have both toothpick, which is the skinny cropped style that i linked earlier and the matchstick which are straight leg with a low rise (i think the rise is 8" from memory).

Been on the M&S website and i love this skater dress.

Longislandicetee · 29/08/2018 08:48

Love this M&S pleated skirt although it wouldn't suit me at all!

AmberNectarine · 29/08/2018 18:14

I would have loved to join the MU, but I'll be at a wedding that day. Have fun!

FedupNagging · 29/08/2018 21:02

The colour of the M&S pleated skirt is such a perfect autumn colour (wouldn't suit me either Blingy) and the red ankle boots would brighten any dull winter jeans/jumper combo. Dry did you purchase?

I am keeping the plain grey superga's; the sparkly ones were awful but I did quite like the leather ones but the canvas were the better fit - all size 37.5 so you'd think they'd all fit the same - go figure!!

Oh and the M&S flatforms are keepers too.

Lib very exciting getting a new kitchen. Paddle boarding is so much fun I'm rubbish One of the funniest moments one holiday was watching Dh attempting to paddle board - we were laughing so much we couldn't breathe!

Am looking forward to the MU; thanks for organising Shop. How is your Df?

Oh god, I've just re read my post - the 1st para reads like something out of a dodgy magazine. Apologies Blush Grin
