The cropped trousers with the Daphne top. Am liking this combo. Only issue is the top is double layered so would be better in cooler weather. Down sized the trousers.

Also got the striped graphite green T shirt which is lovely on.

@taybert it looks very much like the striped marina skirt, have you tried that one?

Yeah @ellapaella it is nice, I just liked the metallic detail in the Heidi and the sort of cottony gauzy material. Basically everything about it apart from the bunching and the hem. And I could’ve lived with the hem, it was just I’ve already got big hips so if there’s more emphasis I look like one of those dollies on top of a toilet roll....

Just reporting back on latest sale haul which was not so successful...
Yellow maxi and matching vest top going back, too long for me (cherries commented on this too) unless I wear above belly button, the vest is nicely made but the combo or stand alone do not flatter my shape at all! I ordered the skirt in 10 and 12, vest in 12 and 14 and in both cases definitely size down they’re very generous!
Beautifully made though, so worth a try if you’re tall.
I’m olive skinned so can carry off the bright yellow but be warned it is bright!

Also returning knitted jacket (channel style) in pink, great quality I got a 12 and very generous so size down. Too boxy for me.

Love saves the day in grey with green embroidery letters also returning. Nice lightweight knit, nothing fundamentally wrong but don’t love it as much as the Stella reversible jumper I bought and have kept.

Keeping: Grey harems (always useful bargain sale price) and L/S long sleeve bright blue t shirt in M, lovely slouchy fit for summer eves and to throw on top of vests, will go with lots in my wardrobe.

laska Happy belated anniversary!
I wore the Greek widow dress last weekend with flat sandals and long necklaces and felt good in it. Hope you get the occasion to wear yours soon.
Intrigued by the Lacey jumper and your glowing review and as I’m off to Buenos Aires next week for 10 days I could do with a new winter jumper, I think I’ll give it a go!

Monday I wore the printed trousers (black background print) and agree with each they have shrunk a little length wise! Good job I’m a short arse but you’ve been warned!
They still look good, DH complimented me on them, but I think next time I’ll go for cold delicate wash rather than delicate 30 degree wash

If you want pics of any purchases let me know but I’m not modelling the yellow ensemble I look like a bright sack of spuds in them!

I’m here, thanks for asking, never. DD got ok so she’s on for surgery next week. I took the opportunity of being in Scotland a few days early to go to my parents in Inverness for a couple of days. DH will come home at W/e and stay till surgery over, and bring my suitcase in case I’m home for 2-3 weeks, but hoping DD will feel up to coming down to us for her convalescence. My life fe feels complicated just now!

Wow - I can see why many of you like the Marseille shorts. I'd tried the Hawaiian shorts as loved the pattern but they did nothing for my thighs and bottom - the thicker material just seemed to make me look huge! These bought in the same size - a 12 - are much more flattering. So pleased I tried them and they were in the sale.
I also picked up the metallic sandals in mercury as have been wearing the blue ones I bought last year a lot. Also a sale purchase. Tempting as the new summer stuff is I think I also need to wear all my lovely summer stuff and save some pennies for Autumn /Winter.

I’m a bit . Ordered some things to try, tracking says its was delivered Tuesday, no sign of it anywhere. Husband has searched all round the garden, asked the neighbours etc but no sign of it. It wouldn’t have fitted in box, obviously, so it must have been left somewhere.DH went to delivery office, just in case dog ate the postcard, but it wasn’t taken back there, and postie (who is lovely), is now off on holiday for nearly three weeks. I’m waiting for a call back, not sure what Hush will do though. It’s too much money to write off.

How much do you trust your neighbours?
I have heard [on here] about packages being stolen. I remember one such incident on here where the only reason someone on here realised that their 'wedding dress' had gone to a neighbour's house is when they saw them on facebook trying to sell their dress!!!!
I think you should contact Hush ASAP. Technically, It is their responsibility as the contract is with them and the PO. They should investigate it. You shouldn't have to.

Its not signed for so there is no proof that it has been delivered to you. I reckon they should resend the order.

Our neighbours all seem very pleasant retired people. I’ve had flowers/parcels/signed for mail taken in by all of them before (and done the same for them), and there has never been a problem. I’m feeling a bit anxious because Tuesday was bin day, and I have known things to be left in the bin before - usually by courier companies though, not by RM. I phoned Hush at 9am to report, but it was still only the order line. They recorded it andsaid someone would call me back, but probably not today. I followed it up with an email just in case.

I always glance in the bins before I put them out, just in case, but of course I’m not there and husband would just have dragged them roundand never even considered there could be anything in there.
